Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Sig 1911 with Trijicon HD

I have a Sig Tac Ops 1911 and got a set of Trijicon HD for it with the Novak cut..   Got my front sight pressed out and go to put in the Trijicon and it just slides throe with my finger...    Anyone ells able to get them to work ?     I have emailed Trijicon but no reply yet.

Did you put it on or did you pay someone?  Sounds like someone got carried away with a file.

I did.  not a file on the table..  took them out of the package and just slid throe with finger pressure

My first thought is...

Did you buy regular 1911 sights?

Did you need to buy SIG sights?

I do not know the answer, I am asking more of a question.
