I can't seem to find any good answers to this question.

What other sig 9mm pistols will work with p226 magazines?

Also who has 226 mags the cheapest?

Where can I get thinner grips for the 226?

Lots of scattered questions so I hope it all makes sense.

The original P228 could take P226 mags, but they stuck out obviously.  There may be some similar semi-compatibility with some P229 versions.

My M11A1 accepts the 13 rd mags from my W. German P228 and it works fine with a very small amount of wiggle, but the 15 rd M11A1 mags (P229-1 mags) do not work in my P228.

Sigs are not Glocks.

P228, p229 can use p226 mags for sure but stick out. 226 mags will wiggle a little with a  P229-1. Not sure about p224 but I think they can use 226 mags as well.

Greg cote llc, cdnn, and cheaper than dirt are the cheapest for 15 round mk25 mags (Meg gar).

Thinner grips are possible through the sig e2 grip conversion. That's about the thinnest grip possible for a 226.

Probably not the answer you are looking for, but P226 mags work in a Taurus PT-111 G2, and the older PT-111. Although they stick out of the bottom a bit, they function fine.

My 228 will not accept mags from a 229.

Great info. With regard to the grips I'm looking for grips that are thin left to right but not front to back.
