Walked in my LGS and saw this Sig 10mm, had to have it. Also bought a Tac-Ops. It was an expensive day . But I get 4 free mags right.
Steel frame is heavy and the recoil spring is no joke.

... the 10mm mag issue is a non issue.  It takes more effort to seat a SIG 10mm mag than a normal 45 ACP mag.  ...

edited myself for being an asshat.

Joined the club and popped the cherry on it today.

Not sure what pc-ops was saying about the magazines working correctly.  Is the 8 round only issue?  The seating thing is a touch harder than a normal 220, but nothing to get upset about.

I posted a range report in the Handguns Forum.

Sweeeetttt!!!!

Haven't shot mine yet. I have done plenty of fondling though

I have decided its main goal is to look sexy , which I am ok with.

Its almost too nice to carry into the woods. G20 will stay on woods duty.

Spikes08,

When you do get around to shooting that new 220 10mm, I'd suggest checking the grips screws first.  Mine were not very tight and probably would have backed out within 50 rounds.  Like I always do for any Sig 220, gave them a small drop of loc-tite and medium tension.

yeah mag issue isnt a issue. you just have to hit it to seat it.

just like if you hit a square peg it will fit a round hole in time.

Beautiful blaster.

Actually, that DA/SA model with the fixed night sights is the one I want for CCW.

Problem is, my dealer can't find a distributor who's got one.  Some do have one of the SAO models, with the adj target sights.

Still trying to figure out why Sig chose to go with an 8-rd mag, when it seems they might easily have engineered a reliable mag holding 9- or 10-rds of 10mm love (?).

I got a Match Elite reverse 2 tone about 2 Months ago.So far around 300 rounds down range. She eats anything you feed her,Reloads,Silver Tips,Buffalo Bore,Cheap Armscor,PPU,Remington,Winchester ETC &ETC..The Sig mags have to be seated fairly hard,But regular 45 220 mags and some older Pachmyer mags I have are easy to insert and so far nary a Hiccup with anything I've used. This pistol outshoots all my other 10mm with the exception of my 610 S&W and maybe even it.We're talking Glocks,Colt,S&W 1066,and S&W 1076.She will stay here a long time

Question on the .45 Sig mags ... I have an older W. German P220 in 45acp, along with a bunch of mags for it, including the Sig factory 8-rd mags with the base pad.

The other day, just to see, I found I could load nine 10mm rounds in the .45 mag. If the mags work reliably in the Sig 10mm, that would give you a 9+1 gun for carry, instead of an 8+1 gun using the 10mm mags.

Anyone else try getting nine 10mm rounds in the .45 mag?
