1 of 300?
So we wont see them in stores? I was kinda hoping it was a full production line, or is the one you bought a special run?

Yes --- it was sold through Dury's guns as a promotion for the 20th anniversary of Tom Gresham's Guntalk radio show (hence the GT 20 moniker) -- 10 years ago, he specced out a "GT 10" based on a Colt Delta Elite.
It is comparable to the factory's Match Elite offering with the exception that it is full stainless finish instead of 2 tone and has a fiber optic equipped front sight blade -- oh, and its SAO
a big plus for a field pistol when the first shot may be your only shot
When i found out a bit later that Sig was going to be offering these as factory offerings, i groaned a bit and slapped my forehead - as i generally dont like "special run" firearms -- but hey, its a big stainless Sig 10mm that , for my purposes, addresses many of the complaints i have with my rack grade Sig pistols
I dig it , and the "1 in 300" marking is not nearly as offensive as i thought it would be
Originally it was supposed to be "! in 1000" though ---- which makes me think the general public wasn't quite as excited about this gun as i was - or advertisement of it wasnt widespread enough to get the word out - ------ i was literally almost breathless when i got through to the Dury's rep wanting to make sure i got my order in under the wire --- LOL - like they would be selling like Rolling Stones tickets for MAdison Square Garden or something
Truth be told i was probably one of the first 30 or 40 guys to order one
Anyway -- i am really looking forward to putting this rascal through its paces on an outdoor range, but my AO is flooded out for the foreseeable future ---- i have some indoor ranges, but if i can keep a magazine full on a pie plate at 50 yards off a sandbag, - that will tell me if it has enough practical accuracy to rely on for a field pistol --- I'm sure the pistol can, just not sure about myself
I just saw a pic of a "Hunter" model as well that is not out yet but will have a camo finish and a factory installed red dot sight --- i wish i hadnt seen that -
That looks like one that is worth putting a few bucks back for as well
