Got the Sig bug, really like my recent purchase, P320 Compact, Large grip, 9mm.

And you guessed it wanting to get another Sig.

I would really like to get a Sig 229 in 9mm, but there are several to choose from.

Extreme, Enhanced Elite, etc, which do you have?

Pics?

How does it carry CCW?

FIgure out which has the features you want. May have to visit some shops in your area and fondle a few if they carry Sigs in your area.

I got real lucky and found a CPO, non-rail though (I was looking for a 229r), but at the price I couldn't pass it up. I've added night sights and the SRT along with some 14-round mags and it's a shooter.

Of course, you probably already know they are on the thicker side as far as carry. However, a lot of that is holster choice.

recently got a 229 extreme, love the grips and night sights, carries as well as my gen 3 glock 19 in a galco summer comfort holster

I thought I had made my decision and was going to get an Extreme then I found a 229 Elite in .357 Sig with the E2 grip and beaver tail and then it made me think again.

I really like the beaver tail. I know it serves no purpose but being an old 1911 guy it just looks appealing.

Does the beaver tail cause any issues with concealed carry?

I bought the Elite, just like the beaver tail too much not to get it.

Great choice OP, I have the 226 TacOps as I like the beavertail just because I'm an old guy. I will be getting the 229 EE next.

Hard to go wrong with any P229. The M11A1 is my favorite.
