The rumor I heard is that they're eventually going to be produced here domestically.  I'm sure someone will be along shortly to confirm or deny

Not true; SIG is making arrangements to move X Series production here to the United States, including both the necessary machinery as well as key Mastershop personnel.

I've heard word of moving some of the production to Switzerland as well.
