So this sig has about ~1500 rounds though it. About 1k of which was suppressed. Typically they say the recoils spring should be good for 2-3k rounds. After last cleaning I removed the grease that was caked on the top rail and saw bare metal at to spots where the top slide meets the frame when the slide is fully in its rearward position.

Ideas on whats causing this?
To much recoil? To little? Heaver spring required?

Looks normal.  It will happen when the pistol is shot.

Yup looks perfectly normal.

Normally I'd say re-spring at 5K, but if you're doing a lot of suppressed I'd agree with your 2-3K. Keep a decent grease on the rails and keep shooting.

Ok I guess if thats the norm. I noticed this is caused from the slide hitting the hammer.
