Hey All,

I'm looking for recommendations on a rail light or laser/light combo.  This is not my every day carry.  More like a home defense, fun plinking pistol. Especially when I get my Octane 45HD.

I like the ruggedness of the Surefire lineup.  But don't have any experience with rail lights.
I've also seen the Viridian C5L or X5L. The green laser is so bright you can actually see the laser beam.

Any other makes I should be looking at?

I am going with a Surefire X300 and the new Crimson trace green laser grips. I have had a TLR-1 but want something new for my 1911.
