I have yet to try a pro mag, so I can't comment.  I've always been able to find OEM mags on eBay, an can usually get a decent price if I shop around.  Just be aware that used ones can have spread feed lips and have issue, and I don't know if they can be bent back

what are the results with the mag conversion?  I have bought a few P6 mags off of gunbroker.  They were new old stock still in the factory wrapper.

Pro Mags are trash.

Pro Mags are JUNK. Do not buy them at any price. For the P6/P225 only the factory zipperback mags will be reliable. Probably the only downside
of these awesome pistols. So your best bet is to find the best deal on new or used factory P6/P225 mags.

Might try Cope's Distributing, almost ordered some of their 15 rnd 226 mags for $22 ea about a month ago and they had some zipperbacks listed, not sure of price. I've purchased Pro Mags twice in the past for non-Sig firearms, both times they wound up in the trash for reliability issues.

Pro Mags made me think my p229 became unreliable.  Saved them to use a range mags, but can't bring myself to use them when I have Sig and Mec Gars that work great.  I need to throw them out.

Saw a good quote on here a while back along the lines of "I only use my Pro Mags as range mags, I go to the range and place them on the berm and shoot them".  That about sums it up.
