I currently have a 229 in 357 sig and I have the 40 barrel.

I see that Barsto has a barrel to add 9mm to the gun but from what I have read, there is fte issues. I see sig offered at one time a full slide and barrel in 9mm with a mag.

2 questions:

For those that have the slide conversion, how do you like them?

Where can I find them in stock?

I have a 229 in 40. and just dropped a Barsto conversion 9mm barrel in and have run thousands of rounds through it with no issues . Now If I could just find a threaded 9mm conversion barrel without having to wait 3 months I'd be set .

I've run at least 1000 rounds through my Bar Sto 9mm conversion barrel without any issues at all. Only issue I'm aware of is some of the conversion barrels need to be fitted. Mine was one of them.

I have a p226 in .357sig.  I bought a Bar-sto 9mm conversion barrel and it has run flawlessly for around 1000 rounds.  No problems at all.
I did have to buy 9mm magazines.

My Bar-sto threaded 9mm conversion barrel has been excellent, too. I use old P228 mags even though they're a bit thinner than the P229 .4-.357 mags.

Just order the threaded barrel. I don't think mine took the whole 3 months. Time flies by anyways. I was saying the same thing about the P226 .40 threaded barrel I've been wanting for months. If I'd ordered it back then, it would be here now.

I have a 9MM Enhanced Elite P229.. it's got the newer (P229-1) frame and locking insert so I was able to pick up a .357SIG caliber X-change kit. I've put right around 500 rounds though the kit with no issues.

I use the slide converions (Centerfire X-Change kit) on my p226 and it works flawlessly.  I bought a p226 Classic .22 and then the conversion kit (cheaper than just buying a basic p226 and you get a free .22 kit!) but recently I have had a hard time finding them in stock (the exchange kits).

Pretty sure that all the conversion kits also have night sights.

Did you change recoil spring ?
Assume you are running  the 9mm barrel in the OEM 357 slide,

Does point of impact change markedly between 357 and 9mm ?
