Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Anyone seen these issues with a P227?

I was at the local gun store yesterday and went to check out a new P227. The slide locked up in battery multiple times. One time it was so hard myself and the employee couldn't get it to re-open without hitting it pretty hard. Also, the slide would not lock back on the magazines.



I've never had any issues with any of my Sig's so I was a little surprised at the issues it had. Was this a random freak of nature that made it through QA/QC or is there some known issues on them now that they've been out for awhile?

Nope, mine's been flawless through about 500 rounds..
