Bought 2.  Last thursday took them both out for their first range session. Guns both cleaned and lubed before shooting. Also took 650 rounds of wwb 115gr to split between them.  Multiple failures to extract on both guns using 14 different mags. Fast forward to today.  Back to the range with my m11s cleaned and lubed. Took 800 rounds of wwb 115gr fmj. Multiple failures to extract in each gun using 14 different mags. So between the 2 1450 rounds of wwb with to many failures to begin counting. I'm going to clean them up again and give it a shot with strictly federal or fiocchi and see what happens. It will suck if I have to send both these guns back to sig.                     UPDATE::::  Went to the range this morning with one of my malfunctioning m11s. Fired 300 rounds of federal champion 115gr fmj. Not 1 malfunction and all 300 went down range in under 30 minutes.

You're either a victim of weak ammo or the long extractor.

I have several pistols (no,sigs) that won't run with WWB 9mm.

Failures to extract or eject?  WWB is light ammo, but I'd be disappointed if my gun wouldn't eat it.

I'm convinced its the ammo. 2 guns built a couple months apart with the same failure. I'm going to give them both one more go with some federal or fiocchi. My father went with me today and he was shooting a xdm 4.5 9mm and out of a 100 round box of wwb he had 4 rounds that would not completely chamber.  We tried multiple times to get those 4 rounds to chamber but they never would allow the slide to go fully forward.

WWB should operate any properly functioning gun.  If its not, then something isn't right.

Yes, it's lighter loaded ammo, but it has the power to make a gun run.  If your gun is on the edge that WWB won't function and hotter SD ammo will, then something is wrong.

ISUSTEVE.    I would tend to agree. But the fact that its the same issue in 2 pistols steers me towards the ammo being garbage.

On a side note I also own a p229 enhanced elite 9mm that I broke in around december using federal champion that never skipped a beat. I'm going to take it next time and see if it chokes on wwb as I have not used any in that pistol. If the 229 chokes also I will be dumping a crapload of wwb 9mm.

FWIW, I ran 200rds of WWB through two brand new SIGs last weekend. A P226 Navy and a P250. No malfunctions whatsoever. And I'm a Glock guy, not a SIG fanboy.

What is this WWB ammo you guys speak of?

If the ammo is as weak as it sounds, may I suggest using good quality ammo for a couple hundred rounds first. See what happens. Then try this WWB ammo again and see if there is an improvement.

Surprised to hear this.  Have had the same experience with Remington UMC.  It's the only ammo that has caused issues with both SIG and Beretta pistols.  Never had a problem with WWB, although most of what I've used is the 124gr NATO.  I have used a ton of Magtech for range ammo in both 9mm 115gr and .45ACP 230gr.  It is my favorite range load.

I will report back and update this thread when I get back to the range. I'm hoping some different ammo does the trick. If not I guess I got 2 lemon sigs at once.

I've had the same exact experience with Remington UMC with a few of my Sigs plus one Beretta.  No problems in other pistols.  I suspect that the UMC is on one end of the tolerance range, and a few of my pistols are on the extreme opposite.

When the guns were new or all the time?

I have had issues with new SIGs not liking weaker ammo due to "tight" springs. Not sure if tight is the right word or not. The guns worked fine with good qaulity ammo. After a couple hundred rounds of good ammo, the pistols would eat anything loaded into them without issue including the same ammo I originally had issues with.

Both pistols were brand new when I started shooting through the wwb, 1450 of wwb rounds between the 2.   I have since contacted a friend who bought a lot of the wwb value packs at the same time as I did. Interrested in my ammo failures he took one value pack of wwb to the range to put through his xdm 9mm 3.8 and had 2 rounds that were too large to chamber,  same problem as my father had in his xdm 9mm 4.5.   So for now I'm done with winchester. I see no reason to use wwb since cheap federal champion runs fine.
