I'm in the market for a new pistol and the P226 has caught my eye.  I've shot one before and loved it.  One thing I don't like is the writing on the slide stating how the loaded chamber indicator works.  My question is, is the writing permanent or is it easily removed.  It totally ruins a beautiful firearm.

Thanks.

Give these folks a call or an email, they are over on the Sig forum as industry partners and do a lot of sigs, and offer special pricing around the holidays.

Just an observation on my part which is worth nothing, the labeling on the slide is fucking hideous, getting rid of that would be a necessity for me also.

Thanks for the website.  YA know, I don't much mind having the LCI, but the way SIG marked it just ridiculous.  That would definitely need to go.  Thanks again.
