Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - 1911 Carry Nightmare and M/S VM2 Holster

I just traded for a NIB 1911 Carry Nightmare and was wondering what I should look for in the EE in regards to a VersaMax 2? Will it only be compatible with M/S made for the 1911 Carry? I like the size of this thing and it seems like a good carry gun. Besides a POW/MIA I've never owned a Sig so, I'm not familiar at all with fitment. I would appreciate any input.

My experience is SIGs don't fit regular 1911 holsters due to the slide profile.

This.

Sig's standard 1911 offering's (including the nightmare) have a Sig style slide profile (square'ish), and not like the more rounded traditional 1911.

You'll need to find a custom made/configured holster for Sig's. (I own a full size nightmare, so I'm very familiar with the platform.)
