Now a real killer, when he picked up the ZF1, would have immediately asked about the little red button on the bottom of the gun.

Just added a barely used 1911R Emperor Scorpion this morning to my SIG collection. What a sweet 1911.

It's been 15 years since I bought a Sig pistol. I'd been holding out for a good price on a commercial M17. I'll probably never get issued one before I retire from the Army in a few years, but I wanted to get comfortable with it and have it as a memento to go with my M9.
I jumped on this one with the local base exchange Black Friday sale week. Their standard price is $630, and they only had the one left in the display case. 10% off for the sale, another 10% off for using my Military Star Card, and then an additional 10% off for the first time using the Star Card (never had one in my career until I saw this sale), no sales tax = $459.27. Not a bad deal! Looking forward to some time with it at the range over the holiday. Attached File |

I want to like them and I don't want to like the sig 365xl, but so far it's been nothing but great. I took my 12 year old nephew out shooting today. his first time with centerfire pistol, second time ever shooting. He printed a 2" group (pretty close but still) with the 365xl and red dot. |

What TLR7 sub do I need for my XL? The one for the 1913 rail? What holster are you using for your gun/light combo? Thanks! |

View Quote @davidb1982 you will need the TRl 7 sub that's specific to the 365 because of the rail dimensions. I've seen a few in the $100 range with BF so should be around there. they are really great lights and I don't mind carrying with it on for short time frames. the nice things with the trl 7 sub is that it's 500 lumens, takes a CR 123, and not crazy wide. It's also quick detach and you can lock it out so it doesn't turn on in your bag. So this weekend we're traveling and during the day I'll wear the gun IWB in a minimalist holster with no light. At night I'll slap it on, allow it to activate, and carry that way. I have a WERXZ IWB and OWB holster set up. I like the IWB and don't even prefer to carry that way. I HATE the OWB . even after replacing the belt attachment and removing some spacers the damn thing is like a dropped/offset holster. I bang it into the wall walking around. It's that terrible. I'll either sell it or use it for "battle belt" only carry. Edit cause picture thread Attached File the IWB I like Attached File the OWB sticks out like crazy. WERXZ on left, basic (non light) OWB on the right. that ~1" makes a hell of a difference |

I'm very partial to my Thiess IWB holster. I'm tall but on the skinnier side and I can carry a P226R with TLR-1 HL attached IWB and its comfortable and concealable. I carried OWB only until I tried this holster.
