Didn't realize I had this many until until I got them out of the safe. The 226r has been hiding toward the back and forgotten since I got the two MK-25's. The 938 is my wife's CCW. The M11-A1 gets carried occasionally. |

Picked it up used obviously. But always wanted a 229 in .357 for the stable even though I'm a Glock guy for everything else

Finally got a 226 after years of putting it off. Also picture is a TacOps that I've had for a year or so now.

If it's a Colt, it's a copy of an original ArmaLite.
I am not LARRYG36. Racing is life. Anything that happens before or after is just waiting. If your AR10 is marked Geneseo, IL, it's still an AR10 no matter what some people say. |

Project “Blue Blood” currently in progress. She was a police trade in P229 DAK that I picked up from a member here in the EE. Today I got her detail stripped, cleaned, media blasted and it is currently in the oven with a fresh coat of Desert Sage Cerakote.
Plans are for a threaded barrel, suppressor height sights, DA/SA conversion, new grips and a few other goodies. Attached File Attached File Attached File |

Moving along nicely with one hick up so far. My dumbass managed to do the unthinkable and install the mag release with the detent backwards! Due to the Cerakote tolerances, I had to drill the damn thing back out.
Otherwise, it is shaping up well. The barrel was microslicked and looks great. All of the controls are Cerakoted to match and the Hogue aluminum matte green anodized checkered grips should arrive soon as well as the rest of the parts to convert it from DAK to DA/SA.
