I'm in the market for an aftermarket trigger for my Glock 42. Apex would be my go to, but they don't seem to make a trigger for the G42. Anyone out there try a few different triggers and have some feedback? I'm mainly interested in a smoother breaking trigger. Not looking to take off too many pounds of pull. Don't need a 3.5lb trigger (Though I suspect there aren't any that low). I have a 3.5 lb trigger on my Shield and it spooks me a little. A little too light for my intended purpose. Thanks in advance.

I was in the market for the same thing.  Sadly, I have yet to find a new trigger for the 42/43.  I went ahead and just did a .25 cent trigger job on it, added a Ghost connector and a spring kit.  That really cleaned up the factory trigger.  Took out the grit, better reset, and slightly lighter trigger pull.  It really tightened my groups up.  Nothing fancy, but very cheap and made a huge improvement over stock.

If something new is out there, let us know!

I don't have a problem shooting it. Below are the typical 6 round groups I get at 10 yards offhand with the factory trigger. I just picked it up and this is from my only range session thus far.

What about the Overwatch Trigger for the 42? Anyone try that yet?

I started out with a Ghost but it didn't have much of a wall. I like a wall in my carry pistol.
When Glock came out with the 33564 connector, for me it was perfect.
I paired it with a flat faced Kineti-Tech trigger shoe.

Works great for me.
