Guys, what's a g19 gen 2 worth? I have a chance to pick one up for $400. Should be in good condition but I have not seen it in person yet.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!

That's what I paid for mine.

When we got divorced I gave the ex a gun, it is a Gen2 G19.
I could trade her for my Gen4 G19 anytime as she would like a light on it for home protection.

I bought it new and I may have put 300-500 rounds through it. $400 would be all I'd pay for it.

She still has it.

I think $400 is fair if it's in excellent condition and has a couple of mags.

It depends on condition.  It is like new and has two mags, than $400 is a good price.  But if it has holster wear, comes with one mag, or doesn't have the case, I wouldn't pay more than $325 for it.

To have any collectability, it would need to be mint, unless it has a rare proof mark on it or something like that.

Make sure all the serial numbers on the barrel, slide, and frame all match.

Like the others have said $350.00-400.00 depending on condition.

Agreed 350-400 is about spot on.  I paid 400 for a pint G17.2 awhile back.

How early is the 19? The 19's containing the makers mark (early gen 2) bring more money usually,
especially if it makes it onto gunbroker. Those real early gen 2's w/makers mark can bring new prices.

Otherwise, lots of wear; 350. Mint 400-425 depending if all there (both mags and Tupperware box).

$400 is a great price here in MA, we cant buy new Glocks through a dealer so it drives up the price of all Glocks. Gen 2's go for $500-$600 all day here.

Can't you buy them online and have them shipped?

No, not really.

You can with frames though (all gens), so often people will buy a frame and slide separately, which is usually more expensive than just buying the complete gun.

$400.00 isn't a bad price. I gave $350.00 for an early Gen-2 a few years ago.

What are you calling "makers mark". Where are they located?  I haven't heard that term when talking about Glocks.

I've got an early Gen-2 19. DPxxx.
