I am replacing the floor plates on my duty Glock magazines in an effort to prevent sticky hands on the range accumulating my dropped mags. Has anyone done any painting or marking Glock magazines and can possibly advise what the best product/brand is for durability? Thanks, gents.

I just use paint pens.

I figured it would be a rattle can situation. Just curious if there was any particular brand that anyone has used that adheres strongly for Glock mags and holds up over time and abuse.

Maybe something like Krylon Fusion that is designed to adhere to plastics?

BTW, I'm a fan of Fluorescent Lime Green for ownership markings. Not sure if Fusion comes in that...

Midway sells orange Glock brand base plates.  Vickers  makes slightly wider base plates in blue, orange and tan.

Colored replacement floorplates are probably the best option.

Personally, I use a paint pen.  Not a Sharpie or some kind of marker, a white paint pen that actually dispenses an oil-based white paint.  Much more durable than a Sharpie, and doesn't rub off as easily.

I mark all of my mags that way, or on the smaller ones, like 10/22 mags, I just fill the logo with white paint.

Use a Brother label maker and put your badge number on them.

I was also thinking of the Lime Green. Something that is impossible to pick up and re holster if it isn't yours.

FMP.....I use Testor's model paint.. originally to identify my mags when shooting 3 gun, but later to distinguish between the 9mm mags and the .40SW mags
