Just got a late 2016 made gen4 19. 200 rounds with no brass to face or ejection issues.  The only non stock items are night sights.  I did install a full size gen3 trigger with trigger bar in it (I hate the serrated triggers)

I think by now, they solved the ejection issues.

I like the gen4 grip better than a standard gen 3 but I like the RTF2 gen 3 grip over the gen 4. The RTF2 seems to give the gen 3 a completely different feel over the standard gen 3.

Looks great! I have thought about going that option. How hard was it to complete the P80 frame?

If you take your time, it's easy, much easier than the previous versions. All my Glock parts also dropped right in.

Go with the Gen 4. I love all my Gen 4's.

i like the gen 4,  I think a gen 4 lower with the coating of the old gen 3 uppers would make a perfect pistol,  well perfection

I only own Gen III's. The early Gen Iv's had several issues and I don't think they offer anything over the proven Gen III design. All of my guns get grip reductions anyway and there are several companies that offer an extended magazine release, including Glock, for very little money.
