converting a gen 3 glock 23 into a 19. got the alpha wolf conversion barrel, the 9mm ejector, and spring plunger.

last part i have to swap is the extractor. looking at the oem glock 9mm, or the lone wolf 9mm.

which is better choice? why?

OEM. An aftermarket extractor should not even be up for consideration.

I converted my G23 to 9mm using a S3F conversion barrel. I replaced the extractor, plunger, and ejector with OEM 9mm parts. Gun has about 700 rds of various ammo without any issues. Its pretty dam accurate to boot as well. I am glad I decided not to sell or traded my G23.

I just picked up a G23 lower just the ejector on the frame needs to be swapped to make it a G19?  the upper is a Gen 319 upper going on the gen 3 23 lower.

I have no plans to shoot 40.

You can't buy just the ejector, you have to buy a new trigger housing as well which will have the ejector pre-installed.

Make sure to get the proper trigger housing for your Gen3 or Gen4 as they are not interchangeable, however you can take the 30274 ejector out of the Gen4 housing and put it in the Gen3. That is what I did, you just have to buy both full trigger housings and do the swap if that is what you want

my 23 all I did was put the wolf barrel in it...

I switched back and forth several times throughout the day without any issues.

The only change was the barrel. G23g4

Used 115gr 9mm and 180gr Fortay bulk winchester

for most people, leaving the G23 ejector and extractor work just fine

OK I ordered the trigger housing and read on some forums the 30274 ejector from the  gen 4 works well in the gen 3 so that is what I ordered,  it was 11 dollars off flea bay

The Gen4 trigger housing doesn't work in the Gen3 unfortunately, the ejector does so you have to order both the Gen3 and Gen4 trigger housing (only way to get the ejector) and literally pull it out of one housing and push it into the other.

My G22 also works fine with just a Wolf Barrel and a 9mm magazine. 100% and no other changes. Seems like a few here have had this same result....<><....:)

I changed out the 336 ejector to the 30274 on one of my Gen3 19s. Ordered the Gen-4 trigger housing with the 30274 ejector and watched a couple of videos on YT; it was easier than I thought. I just removed the polymer pin that held the trigger housing in place, and raised it up just enough to take a very small, flat blade screw-driver, and press the 336 ejector forward a bit to get it started. Took a pair of pliers with the jaws wrapped with some electrical tape (in case I ever have a need for the 336 ejector), and pulled it out the rest of the way. Put the new 30274 ejector in and pressed it all the way in with the plastic handle of the small screw-driver; then I pressed the trigger housing back in place and replaced pin. FWIW, the 30274 ejector did make a difference in the ejection pattern of the Gen-3 19 (further to the right instead of more to the rear).

I had thought about converting my G23 to 9mm, but decided to buy the G19 instead... I ended up buying more than one, in fact. :-)
