I have a G22 gen3 with a tac light, as a night stand gun.  A G19 gen4 as my CCW gun.

I'm looking for a truck gun, that will stay in the truck 24/7.  Michigan prohibits loaded long guns in the car.

Do I get a G17, since I have quite a few mags that will fit it already?  Or a G21sf and expand to .45acp.  I do not currently own anything in .45acp.

My other options were Zastava M92 (7.63x39 AK style pistol). Or a wheel gun in .357mag.

Update: Well, I kind of went a different route. I put the Glock 22 in the glove box, put the H&K P2000 in the nightstand  and will keep the Glock 19 as my carry gun.

I bought a  Romanian  mini Draco  with an 8 inch barrel with the intentions of doing an SBR down the road

If you end up deciding G21SF, PM me.  I've got one I'd like to dump.  It still has the copper grease in the slide rails

Buy whatever is cheapest. A gun left 24/7 in a vehicle is the likeliest to be stolen. Buy something you're not afraid to lose. Glocks are cheap when you buy them used.

I'd go with the 21sf. You can always get a conversion barrel for your 22.

If a gun can't be loaded can the mags be loaded? If they can a m92/draco/mini draco has my vote, if not a wheel gun would be qucikest to load.

Since it is vehicle gun. Having same mags as CCDW can help if you need reloads. Also Ammo is same which helps for stockpiling. Lastly you can find a cheap police trade in G17 most days.

G17 makes the most sense, you can use the 17rd mags as reloads for your EDC

Your G22 holsters and mag carriers will also be compatible if you decide to change it up.

Myself personally, I would buy a G17.4 and use it for your new nightstand gun, and put the G22 in the truck.

I have a CPL, so handguns can be loaded.  Only long guns (rifles and shotguns) have to be unloaded in car.  I want something loaded and ready 24/7.

You already have quite a few Glock 17 mags?

I've got a couple Glocks in 45acp and will pick up some 9mms this fall. I want to have firearms that shoot common LEO/Military ammo.
My suggestion for you would be to go with the Glock 17. My reasoning is it is the same ammo as your concealed carry pistol and you can use the mags in your G19.

I've had 40 S&W pistols in the past but got rid of them. I prefer the 45acp. I'm picking up a couple 9mms because the ammo is so cheap.

Go 17. It's already familiar and you have the mags. Easier transition than the others.

Not all of them. There are a couple versions that command prices higher than they sold for new. Fish gill (crescent) RTF2, and the G19C to name a few.
