Considering having some basic slide work done on one or two of the glocks.

I like the Arfcom slide package 1, the cuts look nice and includes a nitride refinish.

Everyone else seems to use Cerakote or basic phosphate refinish.

Who has good packages under $200? Never thought I'd spend money on something superficial like slide work - but it looks good and I've spent more on worse.

Based on some things I have seen and heard, if I ever need any done, I'm gonna run over to LA and drop it off at Primary.
Never used em, but it seems like they have good rates and more importantly, stand behind their work.
Plus its a chance to get some spicy nasty roux rich gumbo

Primary Machine correct?

Yes sir.
There are a few posts here in the Glock section, I believe his name is Bruce.
I looked at their website a few weeks back, looked like reasonable prices to me for machine work.

Jagerwerks country......

I have only used Jagerwerks, so I can only comment on my experience with them. I asked every stupid question in the book, I second guessed evey option or color I picked, I basically bugged the shit out of them for two weeks, Steve never hesitated in taking his time to resolve any questions I had. I had my slide back in two weeks even though I held them up by ordering sights and shipping them to Jagerwerks after I received them from Opticsplanet. Never dealt with a more pleasant or professional bunch.

I have seen several examples of Primary Machines work. It looks great as well.

It's going to the Arfcom shop for some work and barrel going to CCR for their CPII finish.

Thanks all!

It might be tough getting much from ATEi for $200. Their refinish alone is $90. That aside, they are the only ones I deal with. They've done a bunch for me so far. RMR cuts, rounding the nose, etc.

ATEi work can add up quickly.

I went with the enhanced front and rear serrations and then drop shipped to another vendor for single-color cerakote, all costing under $200. Under two week turnaround time to add icing on the cake.

You know what's funny, if Glocks came with the squared type chamfer we would be rounding them off.

Lol. You are probably right. One thing I noticed since having mine done, when I'm manipulating the slide I lay my thumb and palm along the chamfer on one side and my fingerstips on the chamfer on the other side. I don't really touch the side of the slide any more.

Said slide work in the flesh for under $200, minus the RMR cut was already done.

Thanks. Tungsten on slide in Wolverine cut. Frame is not coated, it's just the picture.
