I have both a G19 and G34. I have wanted to get another 9mm handgun. My choices have ranged from a 9mm revolver, 1911 in 9mm or a Sig P226.
I did have a Hi-Power - but it was an old beat up police trade in that did not scratch the itch. What would you recommend or would i just be better off to keep what I have? Red |

I have a P228, P226, CZ 75BD, M&P 9/9c. Do not much care for the M&Ps but they work, love my P226/8 and the CZ has really grown on me. The CZ I just ordered yesterday a trigger upgrade kit from CGW.
The next 9mm I plan to add is a P226 Legion SAO or if I find some Hell of a deal on used a CZ75 SP01 or Shadow. A G17 would be a good addition as well. |

I see three choices here.....
H&K USP9T CZ SP-01 or P-07 with threaded barrel RTF2 Glock 19/17 These are some that's on my short list |

Another Glock, keep all your pistol trigger pulls the same. A 1911 in 9mm is a sweet ass thing to have. |

View Quote This one is on my short list. I just wish they had made it where P226 mags fit it. |

I'd get a 26. That way you don't need to buy separate magazines for it

I love my 2 P7 PSP's I forgot about those I really want a M13. |
|
I have a Beretta M9. Just as concealable as my G17 but it does weigh a lot more.

I really like my SD9VE. I could see a CZ P09 after I get my next Glock.

Nothing wrong with diversifying. I have a P226, P228, 92FS Inox, USPf, and my Glock 17 and several 19's. I enjoy them all and appreciate the differences that each bring to the range.

Walther PPQ or HK VP9. CZ variant if you want something unusual.
9mm 1911s are fun if you have $ to burn. Sigs are good guns but I disliked the DA/SA trigger. |

I got a Glock 43 to go with my G19. You could look at a Sig p2022, its a DA/SA polymer frame thats $400 less than a 226.

Easy: M&P with Apex trigger and HD sights. Hit that thing with a soldering iron and it's damn-near perfect.

I'd recommend a 26 or 17 being that you can use the mags on them from your 19 and 34

I used to have an EAA Witness (gave it to my brother for HD) w/ the steel frame the one that takes cz75b mags. Love that gun very accurate and I'm not even that good of a shot, and for me it was the most comfortable feeling pistol I've ever shot, and you can usually find them for around $300 or less.

Consider a Glock 43 or if you're dead set on something not a Glock, get a Springfield RO Operator 9mm 1911.

Glocks and 1911s/2011s for me. I want to add something DA/SA to the collection one day. Probably a Beretta 92G.
|
|
Want to stick with the striker fire go Sig P320.
Want to diversify the collection then Sig P226. |
|
I'm gonna go long gun and suggest a PSA AR-9 using glock mags

In 9mm I have Glock 19rtf2, 17rtf2, 43. Sig 226 Tacops, Beretta M9, and an M&P9. They are all great and haven't had issues with any. The Glocks and M&P are what get shot the most. Then the Sig and lastly Beretta.
If I was trying to scratch an itch and just have one for pure range use it would be the Sig or I would go with a nice 9mm 1911. That is if I had all the other bases covered and it was simply for fun. My next 9mm will be another 19. That's what get shot the most. I'm always buying different guns but when it's time to go to the range I usually end up taking my Glocks. Edit: Glock 43 is what gets carried the most and gets shot every range trip. It's also recently replaced my jframe for back up on duty carry as well. |

43 is the most practical choice. Though I'm not a big fan of the 43.
34 - My favorite. Great for action pistol sports and 3 gun. Can do everything a 17 can do. 19 - My every day carry gun. Best capacity to concealability ratio. Easier to shoot than smaller carry guns. 43 - Better than nothing, if I can't otherwise carry the 19. Conceals well tucked with a thin polo. Small enough and light enough to carry on long runs or to the gym. Small enough for a backup ankle gun. If the goal falls outside of practical and into the realm of range toy or shooting sports: 9mm 1911. Lots of good choices over a wide range of prices. If it was just a fun gun, I'd have no problem with a RIA. STI Edge or Eagle CZ TS or Shadow Tanfoglio Stock 2/3/limited Glock 17 MOS with red dot and suppressor. |
