I had the same question for a 26. Here are the responses I got.

Still on the fence, but I'm leaning towards a basic single clip holster for the easy on/off factor...

I've been using a Galco for a few years and it's worked for me, just getting worn out...

not to sound like a skinflint, but the plastic slide holster made by Glock works fine for me.

Comp-Tac M-Tac for my G19 and PPS.

For the 19 and 26, I highly recommend the Raven Concealment Vanguard.  Made for appendix carry, but can work in other IWB locations, if required.

I've used the RC vanguard in a 4 o clock position, it's thus far been a fantastic fig. Easy on, easy off, super thin, holds the grip close to the body (when the "wing" is attached), and is pretty reasonably priced. I initially bought this to test the concept, but have been very impressed with how secure the retention has thus far been.

My favorite holster has become the Daytona Beach Kydex/Leather OWB.
Rides close, conceals easily, and is very comfortable for me.

Go to amazon and search "blue alpha holster" with what ever model you want. They are nice kydex IWB hoksters with smooth plastic belt clips. All for around 24 bucks. They are my favorite and use them for everything from my 43 to my 22.

I would recommend an SHTF brand IWB holster. I have one for my glock 19 and sig p229. They are high quality and the price point is between alien gear and raven concealment.

For IWB, I have become a big fan of this type of holster...

The one pictured is called the Wraith by GunFigthersInc but this same basic design is being made by a number of smaller makers (usually for less $ then GFI wants). Search ebay or etsy, etc.

I think Kydex is the way to go for IWB because it adds the bare minimum amount of thickness to the pistol and does not collapse when the pistol is drawn. The 10-deg angle is perfect IMO for 3-4 o'clock carry and some makers also offer this same design in a 0 cant version for appendix carry if that's your thing.

The other thing I like about this design is the easy on/easy off without having to take your belt off but yet I have yet to have any issue with drawing the pistol and having the holster come with it. Overall I think its the perfect IWB option.

My brother and I both have an Alien Gear 3.0 for our G29 and 19, respectively. I have been very happy with mine, and the additional shells for other pistols are superb. My Crossbreed SuperTuck has been relegated to the spares box.

Anything Alien Gear is gtg. I have the Cloak Tuck 3.0 (IWB) and their Cloak slide (OWB). I also just recently received a MIC Holster and Sticky Holster. The MIC Holster is good for pocket carrying and in bags. The Sticky is nice to use in an appendix carry and any other carry that you please. There are plenty of great quality holsters on the market, but Alien Gear is my favorite. They are very comfortable, priced right, ultra concealing, and shell swapping compatible. I do not conceal my 19, I only carry the 43 since I'm a pretty skinny guy.

Alien Gear fan here. I like the IWB without the metal plate inside. Either one works though. Their OWB is a simple, sturdy holster. The angle is not adjustable, but they nailed it, for me anyway.

OK .... sorry to slow down the thread with all these pix .... but, you asked for it.

The G43 is my EDC so it gets the most attention as far as holsters go. My favorites, after trying about 20 different holsters are:

Wee Celtic Hybrid by Celtic Holsters. This thing is so comfortable, so thin (it is thinner than every single all-kydex taco-style holster I tried) and so easy to put on and take off that it gets the most use. It is also stunning to look at.

Next is the Stealth Gear Onyx. I have had several hybrids and always went with the CrossBreed SuperTuck (still highly recommended!) as my go-to holster until I got one of these. Now I have them for all my carry guns. Simply the best hybrid there is, bar none. No sweat, no slippage, no problems drawing or re-holstering and super easy to conceal. By far the most comfortable two-clip hybrid I've tried. They are expensive, but it is the last hybrid holster you'll ever buy and the comfort and sweat management alone are worth the extra $$$.

I also like my all-kydex Fist High Ride #K2 for OWB carry. This thing is as concealable as most IWB holsters and I often forget I am wearing it. Excellent retention, too. Expensive, but worth every penny!

And, the Remora is perfect for workout clothes and quick trips. just grab it, stuff it and go. Stays where you put it!

The G19 gets carried a bit, too. My favorite is again the Stealth Gear Onyx. This pic was taken with my G43 alongside, riding in its Wee Celtic Holster.

Since I really like the convenience of a single-clip holster, I have one for the G19, too. The N82 Professional is ultra-comfortable, stable and easy to get on and off. The entire gun is covered by the comfy backing and absolutely nothing touches your skin. Sweat cannot penetrate it, either. Highly recommended!

I also have a X-Concealment C Series Compact OWB Holster for my G19 but no pix of it. It is the best OWB holster I've used for open carry and for concealed carry, as well. Fantastic piece of work.

All of these are great holsters. I have bought and sold many to arrive at these favorites. However, we're all different and you might like an all-kydex IWB (I HATE them!!!!!!!) or all-leather (I don't like the way they let sweat soak through and I am not real high on their retention properties) and you may not like hybrids.

What I am saying is, with holsters, it usually isn't "buy once, cry once." It's more like, "Buy dozens, cry a lot, and hope you get lucky."

I've got the DSG Arms CDC, which is a kydex single clip.  And I like it.  I've just transitioned from a J frame to a 26 so...  it's still early on in my carrying it.  But so far so good.

I think if one has a 19 and a 26, there is one made from Travis Haley that looks really nice.  It is a hybrid but it's not nearly as wide, but still retains two clips.  Which I think is a good thing.  Helps the gun not sort of shift after sitting down.  The single loop ones will do that if your belt isn't the exact size of the clip.   Which mine isn't.  I forget the name of his company though....  ugh...  I just saw it on this site the other day.

I like the INCOG because it has some retention. I did the crossbreed leather/plastic style for awhile but if I was forced to use a public bathroom could not get over how ridiculous and unsafe it was to have a holster that the pistol will not stay secure in.

I carry my G19 in a Tucker Gun Leather "The Answer" holster. This holster holds the gun close and conceals the 19 very well, with it positioned just behind the hip IWB.  The craftsmanship on these holsters is excellent. I also have a Crossbreed holster which squeaks incessantly. It drove me crazy! I tried everything I could think of to stop the squeaking. I decided to get a "The Answer" holster with the leather lined kydex. It's superior to the Crossbreed holster in every way except cost. They cost twice a much ($150), so they should be better.

Incidentally, I sometimes carry my G43 in my "The Answer" holster and it works OK. The retention is not great obviously, but it's not going anywhere unless I stood on my head. I'm thinking about ordering one of the Wee Celtic Hybrids for the 43. They look good.

MTAC. Personally, I was underwhelmed with alien gear and crossbreed after reading so much good stuff about them. YMMV

I'm not digging IWB carry.  I use a Alien Gear OWB and a Blue Line Concealment Kydex holsters to carry my G26 and G23.  Even in the summer time a vented back fishing shirt conceals the OWB nicely.

I've done it and it works, loose until you tighten the belt. Not sure I would make a habit of it. MTAC for those wondering.

Yeah, I could see that.  I know the difference in trigger guard geometry also rules out the Vanguard.

Update on my Alien Gear 2.0 preference for a Glock19. I now like the 3.0 that has the metal plate, and covered t-nut heads. I had to adjust a little, but it is more comfortable. I use the 2.0 with a 380 shell that works fine. Their OWB is still the bomb, if my attire allows it.

Both are great holsters, good companies too!

Same here, Gen 2 glocks are by far my favorite generation. My Gen2 G19 is a bit loose in my eidolon, even when I tighten the retention screw all the way down.
