What are my options? I do prefer a lot of daylight around the front (Competetion style).

Ameriglo GL-430. I have the equivalent on 3 other Glocks and they work very well for me. Basic, standard, no-frills.

Not an exhaustive list of all commercially available sights for the 43 but this may help you get started.

I'm the same way about it, I prefer a very slim front sight.
I shoot it much faster, and more accurately.

I put trijicon HD's on my 43 when I first got it, and hated them.

I swapped to Heinie's Straight 8, and I LOVE this set.

Go with the straight 8's, yes they're pricy, but worth it. Very good quality.

I just installed Ameriglo Classics on my G43....I like that they are not overwhelming.....it is very easy to stay focused on your front sight.    When you're constantly fighting your eyes to keep the front/rear aligned by focusing on both sights you get poor groups.  I don't get that with the Classics

I too went with ameriglo, but it's because they usually offer a lot of different heights to dial in your POI. Shoot your stock sights at a set distance, measure POA/POI difference, input information to Ameriglos calculator, select the correctly dimensioned sights. It's worked great in the past and it's great having the exact same hold on all your pistols. Plus they offer a lot of styles and use trijicon lamps.

Where? I've googled it and found nothing. I'd love to get a fiber optic front/plain rear or at least plain front/plain rear warrens for my G42.

I got mine here but I'm not sure if they make any yet other than the two dot tritium front/ rear.

Big dots on mine as well. Very fast for social work. The shorter the slide the more well suited the big dots are and for a small, concealed carry single stack 9mm they really work well.

I use the Ameriglo Operators on all of my Glocks, my G43 included. They have a white ring around the front tritium and just tritium inserts in the rear. This gives you a hard focus front sight that still gives you a three dot option for low light.

This.  Plus my rears are yellow.

I forgot to add that. All of mine have the green front with yellow rears. Having two different color tritium lamps assures you that you will no doubt know which is the front and which is the rear.

+1 for AmeriGlo CAP sights.

GL-638 if you are looking for the model number.

I like the concept of the CAPs, but in no light conditions, you only have the front and it's hard to gage your rear sight notch.  The photoluminescent rear sight requires light to charge.  For my purposes, this is carried as a back up, so tritium is a must.
