Also since it is gray plastic you can use rit dye to make it all sorts colors.

Had I known about the gray frames sooner, I wouldn't have just bought a 23 with the FDE frame. Wasn't planning to get something else so soon, but I really like these, so I ordered a 19. Can never have too many of those, right?

I've had my FDE G19 since they came out and that thing keeps impressing me more and more, to the point I have to buy another G product! I swapped in a SilCo threaded barrel this week and it was more accurate than my factory barrel, plus the ass-pocket-full of aftermarket triggers makes these a no-brainer in my eyes. Add in TFX sights (available in raised/suppressed also) and Vicker magazine floor plates, mmm mmm good!
Now I need a reliable and higher capacity 45 for a pending sup pressor, which means I'm now on the hunt for a G21/Gen4 or G30/Gen4 (the 45 that will still take 13 rd mags), in gray of course. I would expect the larger platform to be a better sup pressed gun, but a G21 would not be a great CCW for me (G19 is though) and a G30 would be doable, most likely. |

Read it on GT.com in one of the 40 threads on grey glocks. Also keep in mind unlike the FDE runs, they are not doing ANY gen 3's and only a few Gen 4 models in Grey. That alone makes it a smaller run already  |

No thanks. Call me old fashioned, but I will stick with plain old black. Instead of changing the color of the frame, Glock should go back to a durable finish on the slide and barrel.

I saw a few today at a local gun shop, they're definetly grey. Not for me, but I'm a basic black kind of guy. I'm sure all you guys that bought them will be happy. If they ever made a real FDE frame I might bite, but I absolutely did not care for the tactical butterscotch.
