No, I get  that and have no problem with people who don't mod their frames when they fit and work just fine as is. My 17's frame is untouched because it fits my hand fine as is. I know I'd like it even more without the finger grooves but I see no need to remove them just because (as tempting as it may be). I only get annoyed with the people that seem to think that just because they don't need it or like it then it's automatically stupid for anybody to do it.

I do make use of the light rails, so if there was something like a Gen2.5 G19 with a rail but with no finger grooves, it would be awesome.

I agree!

I doubt we will ever see it but a G21 "Commander".  The same 13+1 grip, but with a shorter slide the lengh of the G19/23. Along the lines of the Govt Model 1911, and similar grips but shorter slides like the Commander, and Kimber with even shorter slides.  I love the capacity of the G21, but I think a shorter slide and slimmed down frame some would make it more handy.

The frame would extend well beyond the slide. But that would be a great idea if we could just swap out slides.

I'd love to see a combo of the Supressor ready options and the MOS versions.

Supressor sights, threaded barrels, and optic mount in any model. That way all you have to do is bolt your stuff to it and go rather than shipping gun parts around the country to get it that way.

I would like to see a...

Full size single stack .45,
Full size single stack 10mm, and
A factory .22.

Glock gen 5 - smallest, straightest grip possible with the ability to build out size, hump and beaver tail with backstraps and finger grooves with front strap. MOS cuts and cowitness sights from the factory

The only caliber I care about besides 9mm is .22lr, so some offerings in that

Carbine - probably a bullpup. Cheap, lightweight, and handy. A 16" model but built so a 4" barrel and suppressor could be dropped in without alterations

This would truly be a perfect Glock imo, for CC anyway.

I like the idea in theory, but goddamn can you imagine the trigger weight on a bullpup glock carbine?  the trigger sucks enough ass as it is, a bullpup trigger would be like 100 lbs.

if they do this, they should team up with ZEV for the trigger.

Why? You'd get like 6, maybe 7 rounds in a mag? Limited mag cap has zero appeal to me personally for a carry gun or any purpose gun for that matter.

Gen 5 Glocks - keep the rails and the backstraps, but lose the finger grooves (which a lot of people just end up grinding off, anyways)
I can see this happening.

Realistically, the single stack .40 will come out soon-ish.  But what would be interesting is if they use the U.S. production to make their other .380s here for sale, as I'm sure they would sell a ton of them.

A 26s would be neat, and I'd probably buy it rather quickly.

You mean the G43?
Obviously, because the 36, 30, and 30S are all the same thing

No, I mean a slim-slide 26 that can take my 19 mags.

How exactly do you propose they manage to make the grip slimmer than it already is and accept a double stack mag.... That makes zero sense.

Which will accomplish....what? If the slide is thin and the grip is just as wide as a 26 or 19, what's the difference? lol

Probably going to be GL15 chambered for 5.56 NATO.

1.) The carbine/rifle they have been promising for decades
2.) A factory .22 LR

And, since some of y'all are posting some ridiculous designs/calibers/specs, I'll jump off the deep end with:

3.) A G41 chambered in 7.62x25mm Tokarev

What I'd really like to see more than any new whiz-bang model is a return to all steel parts. No MIM crap.

I was thinking the same thing, would have to be single stack I think, heck I would go for a 21 single stack just to get it thinner.

Looks like alot of folks want the .22LR

Let hope Glock is listening...
