The light is programable for light/laser, light only, Laser only combinations.

I would think they'd make the leading edge flush, not talking about the light bezel, flush with the dust cover...

It was made for the G42. But it fits the G43 like a glove.

No, anything other thsn the G42/43 is too wide for the light.
