What do you want to get out of your purchase?

Accuracy?

Barrel device attachment?

Budget?

Do you care if it has to be fitted?

I just got a great G19 barrel from ZEV.  It is a match barrel, chrome finished with cool looking dimples on the barrel, and mine was ordered as a threaded barrel with a chrome thread protector.  It is bad ass.

Accuracy equivalent to or superior to factory and very possibly a future suppressor.

I'd like to keep price under $250 ish max. Including thread protector.

I'd probably go with the Glock then.  Drops in.  Cheaper.  More likely to cycle ammo (compared to a tighter chamber).

That's what I'm planning on doing with my G34 if I ever go threaded.

KKM offers their barrel threaded with protector $230.

I reload so an aftermarket barrel was a must have for me. I do own a KKM (not threaded) for a G19 and it came with superb fit and finish.

I like the Lone Wolf barrels - the logo. I have a couple that have worked very well.

Would my local Glock dealer be able to get me a Factory Glock threaded 19 barrel or is this something I can find online?

Get one on the EE.  I've seen them b/w $180-200.

Received my palmetto a couple days ago and the fit and finish is top notch.  I hear they are made by storm lake, can't confirm that tho.

OE if you want to use metric threads.

Storm Lake if you're stuck with 1/2x28 like I am.

I'm happy with my Storm Lake threaded barrel.

If you go with silencerco, silencer shop offers them with a thread protector option.

I did this.  Works very well.  Paid about $120, then another 15 b/c it didn't come with a thread protector.

No issues with my Lone Wolf using a variety of ammo and running it both suppressed and unsuppressed.  Mine is one of the black versions without the retarded logo.

I just shot my PSA barrel today, as long as I do my part it was stacking the rounds on top of each other at 15 yards. I only got to shoot out to 25 yards I'll do some more testing and try and stretch it out to a 100 when I get a chance to see if it's minute of man.

Anyone know where PSA's "Drop-in" barrels are coming from?

I'm interested as well. They're on clearance right now for $99, but I don't want junk either.

Whie mine is not threaded, I put one in my G19 a few years ago and have not had any issues.  And, it looks pretty slick since its silver

Can anyone confirm this? I'm ready to snatch one up.

I have Glock OEM barrels from Gemtech for my 17, 26, and 21.  Aside from liking the fact that they're factory and polygonal, I wanted to go all metric on my suppressors.  There's a premium for the factory barrels, but I'm very happy with them.  My first threaded barrel was a LWD for my G19, but I sold that after deciding to go metric.  It too was accurate and functioned perfectly.

I ordered a G19 threaded barrel from PSA. For $108 shipped I figured WTF.

Comes with the thread protector. I'll post an AAR in a few days once it arrives and I get to the range.
