I just ordered a 42 through my work. Cant beat the blue label price!
I am probably gonna try to make a kydex appendix holster.
I was also looking at the Galco pocket protector holster.
This thing is probably gonna replace my NAA .22mag as my weekend carry as it works just like my edc glock 23.
Who carries on the ankle pocket or wherever else and what are you using?

Homemade Kydex holster in the front pocket. Lanyard wraps around by belt and  the outline of the gun looks like a phablet or a big wallet.

No issues with the kydex not coming off?  Looks like with a lanyard that long if you had to shoot with the gun close the kydex would still be on.

Andrews Pocket Holster, modified with a cut down the spine similar to a Recluse TS... the cut allows the front flap to butterfly so you can get a grip on the pistol

No issues. The lanyard is shortened and lengthened according to the particular pant I am wearing. 95% of the time the kydex stays in the pocket when I draw; when it comes out it pops off really easy.

I use a DeSantis Soft Tuck IWB holster at 3:30-4.  A friend usually pocket carries in left front pocket in a pocket holster he bought off ebay.

Is that your primary carry gun or a backup? How fast do you think you could draw that?

That looks uncomfortable and very bulky.

Is that a cinder block in your pocket or are you just happy to see me? It looks like a difficult draw by that "fat" wallet.

You might want to consider carrying your wallet in your left pocket when carrying in the pocket no matter what gun is in there. I could put two of my wallets in my front pocket and it wouldn't be that bulky.

Yes, that is my primary carry.  Unfortunately my dress code is slacks and a dress shirt.  Too hot to wear a blazer or jacket to conceal something either OWB or IWB.  Only option for me is pocket carry.  And, if I don't have my wallet in front of it, it prints fairly obviously.  So, the wallet is a decoy.  In reality it is not that hard to draw.  It may take half a second longer than if it were holstered, but it is much more incog this way than it would be on the hip.  It is either this or nothing.  I've thought long and hard over this one, and I really don't see any other practical options for my situation.  And it is quite comfortable too.

Some day I hope to make my own leather pocket holster, that looks/prints more like a wallet.  Maybe then I'll be able to move my wallet to the other pocket.  Until then, this is what works for me.

Any recommendations for a lower profile holster for me? Currently using a Crossbreed and while its comfy, I think the holster weighs more than the gun. I like 3:30 IWB carry, and have found the kydex holsters to be too stiff. Anyone make a super low profile, all leather IWB holster for this gun?

I use a DeSantis Sof-Tuck for my Glock 42.  This holster is reinforced around the top for easy re-bolstering plus uses a J hook.  You can tuck your shirt in and only a small portion of the hook is visible under your belt.  I use a similar design holster from Galco for my Glock 27.  The Galco holsters are very good but more expensive than the Sof-Tuck.

Carry mine in a AnchoredKydex appendix holster with the large belt clip, great guys to deal with. I also have on order (this will be week 6 so it should be done any day now) a AIWB holster from Bravo Concealment that has two slimmer clips on each side, im looking forward to trying it out as well.

I've been carrying it in a crappy uncle mikes nylon holster that's too big for it until my Cooks AIWB holster gets here. Having it made with thinner kydex and deep carry.
