"This spring" with a picture of a dual coil spring?
Rumor has been there will be a new model introduced at the NRA show. |
|
They need to come out with this damn single stack 9mm already before I by a Kahr to put in my pocket on the bike...
|
|
Considering I just bought a 26, yes, they will finally release a single-stack 9.

Same here but I still won't believe it until I see it and with their recent history, I won't buy one until they've been out for a year or more. I'll let other people be the beta testers PS - Maybe I'm missing something but why does this pic make you think they are getting ready to release a SS 9mm? https://scontent-1.2914.fna.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xpf1/v/t1.0-9/11044533_10153146802651797_8615058038176319930_n.jpg?oh=b39f59529bf1692274918bbd224f256e&oe=558F1678 View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Knowing Glock it just might be a tungsten version. |

"Glocks new!!!!!
replacement spring for the single stack 9mm M&P shield!" |
|
Hopefully it is a single stack 9 but I am not holding my breath..... And I will wait to it saturates the market and mags are easy to get before I buy.
The pic looks like all gen4 RSAs |
|
I do hope it's the single stack 9mm. Not holding my breath. And if it is the single stack 9mm, I'm totally letting you guys be the beta testers for a while.

This will probably be their announcement that they are going to stop production on new Gen 3 guns this spring. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

The pic looks like all gen4 RSAs I doubt that because they still sell. But they could modify the Gen3 to fit the spring maybe I could see them doing that instead of a single stack 9. |

It would take a while for it to get "approved" anyway wouldn't it? View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

If they do finally release a single stack "nine"...the market will be flooded with used 9MM Shields...cheap! I'm not holding my breath though.

Besides, I've been clamoring for a single stack Glock 9mm for so long, I feel like I'm obligated to buy one. |

I would have to wait a year to get one if a single stack 9 did come out.
Glock doesn't exactly have the single stack mastered. In the mean time, I'll stick with my 19. Dave N |

View Quote Glock is way behind the times by not having a single stack nine for concealed carry. That's why I carry a Kahr CW9. They're also way behind by not having a single stack .45 acp on a compact frame like their model 38. I guess they want to hold on to their unpopular .45 GAP round. I'm not impressed with their R&D team. |

I agree. I finally bought a G42 test fired 12/14 and have not had a single issue.
But I waited until they had most of the bugs worked out. It has the latest adaptions. Dave N |

Dave N View Quote I had one of the original 42s. I polished up the feed ramp, worked on the mags right out of the gate and had no issues at all. My second one I polished the ramp that is all. No issues. EDC. |

Seriously, this. Been carrying a 17 for 24 years. Works great and conceals w/the right holster/wardrobe. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

fuck it, glock 17 all the way. Seriously, this. Been carrying a 17 for 24 years. Works great and conceals w/the right holster/wardrobe. I would love to carry my 17 all the time. But unfortunately it doesn't conceal well with slacks and tucked in button up shirt. It's good to have options. |

Maybe they are making springs for Springfield because they have a single stack 9 & 45 acp called the XD-S
|

I've heard this rumor every couple of years since Clinton was in office.

Tired of waiting for a single stack! Thinking of getting and xds
