Battlecock cleaned it up and stippled it.

I remember Peter posting that to the stippling FB page. Very cool that it belongs to a fellow Arfcommer!

BCT does exquisite work. He’s an innovator.

Can you elaborate on this part of things? How’s the reliability and what’s the reasoning for doing it?

Available higher cap mags would be my reason.

I like the g43x/48, but for the grip size, 10rds is sorta weak.

I'm curious how well it works as well.

Reliability is fine.  Because it now holds 10rds in a gun that's very similar in size to a G43.

Did you have to do anything to the mag. release itself in order for the Sig mags to fit or is it even an issue? Does it lock back the slide as well when empty? I can't imagine how they did what they did to the bottom part of the frame,as far as, smoothing it out to look as good or better than factory. I love that checkered pattern on the frame. That is just a whole lot of wow. Amazing indeed.

Any chance of more pics?

Yes, I fabricated an entirely new mag catch.  It does lock back, but not with 365 followers.  With G26 followers it locks back with one round left in the mag.  Still playing with that to get it working 100%.  Also reworking the mag catch because as of now it's too easy to drop the mag under recoil if your grip isn't perfect.

I started this project well before Omaha Outdoors announced their 80% G43 frame that takes 365 mags.  I'd honestly just suggest waiting on them.  It's taken a lot to work out the kinks and I'm still not quite there.  It does feed perfectly though, haven't had a single feed related malfunction.

My personal 45 build. Frame work included a slight reduction and backstrap angle change, recessed borders, double undercut, accelerator cuts, and glove bevels. Had it Cerakoted locally while I waited for the slide to return from Jagerwerks. Attachment Attached File

Thanks!!

I don’t usually go quite as fancy with my personal guns, but I wanted this one to have a little pizzazz. Having it completed, I kinda hate to take it out and get it dirty lol.

Just dropped off an FDE G17 frame at the local coater for graphite black Cerakote. The textures areas will remain FDE for a reverse two-tone look.

What advice would you give for diy with a dremel at low speeds and going slow? I plan to start on my sirt pistol and the backstraps. I want a beavertail on my 21 and remove the pixar level ass on it. Looking to get the stylo model that has the slowest speed at 5000 rpm.

I'd recommend high rpm, low pressure, draw your borders on with a pencil before cutting.

Functions fine? Looked for reviews and there are very few, and like all things, when you look it up you see people complaining about issues. (why would you post questions when everything functions?)

I’m running their optics cut  ZPS.2 19.4 slide on my carry gun. The RMR cut is pretty low as well, almost as low as the Zevs. Excellent pricing/quality from a previous black friday sale.

Also using their billet extractor on my Zev OZ9, which is working better than a Zev or Apex extractor with 0 FTE even with aluminum cased ammo. Very consistent ejection compared to the other extractors. Sends everything 6 ft away. No more weak ejections where the cases basically dribble out an arms length away.

I started my own thread a couple of weeks ago - I hadn't seen this one before.

TTI Glock 34... I like it so much, I am going to send in a Glock 19 in the next couple of weeks for the Combat Master package too...

Yes, it functions fine. I have not shot it for groups. But I can hit a bean can at 25yds easily, and chase it up and down the berm.

So the slide came in, Holosun mounts up perfectly. The tolerances is tight for all the parts which hopefully is a good thing. I’ll shoot some rounds through it within the next couple weeks.

Does cutting a Polymer 80 G19 down to take G26 mags count?
