Please post photos of your DIY stipple and how you achieved the end result, or who did the work for you.

I went at mine after 2 Budweisers, a Walmart Solder gun, and a Dremel. I started with a fine point solder tip, lightly laying at a sight angle int the material until I got the depth I was after (practice on Pmags), The undercutting I used a Dremel large sanding wheel, the one where you slide the round sand tube and tighten down to expand to the belt. I slightly allowed the weight to take material up, and began to form the shape I was after. It was nasty looking, dont worry. You then gradually go higher in grit until you feel it is smooth enough to go at it with a polishing wheel. The mag release I used a combination of a few sanding stone shapes to achieve the depth. Be sure while trying these modifications you know how much material you have to work with. Cerakote done by Caleb at Hudsonville Arms. The slide is Burnt Bronze and the Frame is Graphite Black/ Satin Aluminum mix.

Mine's not the prettiest but it grips very well and I much prefer it to the factory grip.  I just used a dremel to smooth the back of the grip and remove the finger grooves before stippling all the way around it.  Gotta have them index points.

I normally do not like  stippling but that looks BADASS. Good job.

I really wouldn't call this stippling.  I was trying to match the texture on the side panels as close as I could.  I did it with a small ball mill in a dremel.

So I bought this G19 a couple weeks ago... and as soon as I got it home I did the trigger guard undercut, threw on a set of Meprolights and ordered a Grip Force Adapter. The I went and bought a wood burner from the local craft store and stippled it... this was my first attempt and it took me about an hour, also while I was stripping it down I scalloped out the mag release a little, and cut off most of the finger bumps... brought it to the range tonight and put 200 rounds through it. It's a shooter!

A 34 and a 17/19(or 19L) hybrid.
I squared off the trigger guards, added gen 4 mag releases, and did a slight stipple job to both. Heinie's on both of them.

I'm not a fan of Stripling and could never bring myself to do that to a Glock but I have to say that is the nicest job I have seen.  I like that you stayed to the normal area of the grip so it looks factory but still has a more aggressive grip.  Trigger guard looks great also. I sort of get the trigger guard as it can rub you in the wrong place sometimes.

Great work.

My buddy did them, we are looking on getting a FFL so he can get guns and I can get firearms to mold for holsters.

Well I gave my old first gen 26 a overhaul .
First I shot the slide with norrells moly resin- stainless.
I shot the barrel with norrells socom black,
I Cut the finger reliefs using a dremel with a 120 grit wheel and hand sanding.
Still have a little more to go.
The stippling was pretty basic- advice- don't buy a cordless Soder
Gun, it took 12 batteries to get this done!!

I think it turned out pretty good.

Enjoy

Home finger groove removal (sand paper), trigger guard undercut (sand paper), and flared mag well (pliers).  It's ugly, but it works.  Homemade epoxy beavertail has now been replaced with a factory medium beavertail backstrap, but I don't have any recent pictures.

This is why they need a website...when SAI comes to mind most folks think holy shit a $3000 glock WTF?! Not always the case, mine is the base model (tier 3) with their top line internals (tier 1), except the barrel (still OEM). I got the whole tier "hybrid" package, gun included, directly from SAI for $1700ish, the work is incredible and totally worth it (my opinion). I couldn't be more happy with the finished product. The only gripe I have was the wait time.

You can send in your shit for just the frame work or slide work, whatever you want, you don't have to buy the whole kit like I did. I sent a G19 off to them for just the full frame work like you see on my G17 pictured, for $250.

I made a build thread in the Glock forum, but in case that gets lost, I present my custom grip.  Not stippling though.  I did the undercuts and groove removal with a dremel, then taped it up and coated it with JB Weld.  Sprinkled 60 grit silicon carbide over it, and let it dry.  Then, hit it with the Cerakote.  In this case, undercoat of burnt bronze followed by a light dusting of black that was wiped away to give it the distressed look.  I think that helps keep the grip together.  I haven't seen any of it come off at all so far, not that I've had it for very long...  I stippled my G20, and like the silicon carbide a lot more.  It's way grippier.  I had concerns with it rubbing on me if it's in a holster, but after the Cerakote was added over top, it takes a lot of the bite away.

I recently did my G26 and G19 both Gen 3.  Used a fine point solder tip with very light touch.  Tried to visually match the factory texture as close as I could and I only worked on surfaces that won't touch my skin if I am carrying concealed under my T-Shirt.  The texture is very fine but adds an extraordinary amount of grip.  I also did the base of one extended mag on my 26 but I left one smooth for CCW.  On both I did a little patch in the Thumb Recess area and a little patch just in front of the take down lever.  Also put some texture on the factory backstrap texture.

G26 Finger Grooves...

G26 thumb recess...

G26 Backstrap...

G19 Finger Grooves...

G19 Thumb Recess...

G19 Backstrap...

Thanks yeah I sanded the factory texture off. You can just smooth it over with the soldering iron too. For the 17 I cut the dimples off with a pocket knife and then sanded haha. Better just to use the dremel though.
