I just bought a Gen4 G17 and a G41 . The 41 frame/slide gap is a hair wider than the gap on the 17 . But when I compare the 17's gap to a 10 year old 19's gap they are the same .

It's a G21 thing - can't tell you why, but it's normal.

My G-21 SF is looser than 9mm Glocks. This is normal for Glocks and many other brands too.

You should see an early Glock 21. Rattle trap is an understatement, as is the shitty final machine work on the slide. Still goes bang

i think its not an old/new thing, but a G21/not a G21 thing.
my G21 rattles a little too. |
