I was planning on sending my slide to Glockmeister to have it milled for an RMR and forward serrations and cerakoted, but is there anyone else that you guys might recommend over them? Glockmeister seems to be a pretty big name but I haven't heard much about their gunsmithing work or customer service.

One source tactical is pretty popular, but I don't know if they will do slide serrations.

I'd go AETI, who can also do other slide work, or Mark Housel, or Glockmeister, or L&M Precision Gunworks, custom creationz, or one of the many others.
OST is a bit cheaper, but I don't know if I'd want anyone associated with Gabe Suarez touching my gun these days, just because I don't want to support fear-mongering fanatics with a cult of personality ego issues and a loyal following of mall ninjas.  There's a reason the big names avoid him, and he's been thrown off so many forums for lying that he had to start his own.

What about ROBAR?

I have been considering forward slide serrations, and I was thinking about using them.  Any feedback from customers?

Did they do some work for you? If they did, what did they specifically do?

He mills and mounts the RMR too, check out his work on Facebook, or check out his website.

He did front serrations, side shallow cuts and cerakote in sniper grey.  Kinda wish I would have got the 45degree top radius but it wasn't offered at the time.

This is the answer you seek. Doug did an RMR install and forward serrations
On my M&P Pro, and the work is outstanding!

Why can't an RMR be mounted in the stock dove tail? No adapter available or what?

Not sure. I know they make a dovetail aimpoint mount.

But its so much sexier when its been milled

Agreed. Mark Housel milled my G17 and installed suppressor sights. Super price, communication, turn around time and it looks great.

There are mounts for the factory dovetail, but the sight sits too high making it hard to find the dot. The S&W C.O.R.E. has the same issue. The red dot sits higher than a milled Glock slide.

There may be a surge in slide mounted dot sights with a "Production Optics" division possibly coming to USPSA. I wonder if that division will allow slide milling.

I'm looking at the Delta Point 2 with the dove tail mounting option.
