Unless you are going to CC it, skip the G17 and go straight to the G34.
Ditto with the G21 and G41. JMHO. |

I have all the 9s but the 34. In .45 i have 30s and gen 4 21
The 45 is a sweet shooter but ammo is a bit higher so it would be a great excuse to get i to reloading :) |

I already reload for 45 auto and 9mm . That's why I am looking at the 21 or 17

Couldn't go wrong with either...but since you already have a couple 9MM I would go with the 21, also depends on what kinda deals are floating around your area.

You have the two best 9mm Glocks, so branch out a little and try a G30S or G21.

I had a 19 and then picked up a 17 and I like the 17 so much I almost feel like trying a 34.
I may not because the larger guns are less practical but it is tempting. |

I've got a custom G20L, G21, custom G21L, G22, G23, and G24. My G23 is my CCW piece and yes, I like longslides. That said, I much prefer my G21L to my G21 as the balance of it's 6" slide and barrel is much better to me. Also, the higher velocity produced from the longer barrel gives you better performance and you can shoot more accurately with the longer sight radius on the longer slides. Finally, the extra weight at the muzzle of the longer slide and barrel help to reduce any muzzle flip of what is already a very soft recoiling 45acp.
Based upon the above, I'd recommend a G41 over a G21. |
