I have been seeing police trade in Gen 3 Glocks recently for around $350 for G22's and $450 for G 17's.
Saw some Gen 2 G22's for $319. Anyone have a line on something cheaper? |

Best I've done was $300 OTD. One was a LEO 2nd gen G23, and one was a LEO 2nd gen G17 (my first Glock). I've sold both of them (and made a profit). Hard to find one less than $350 or so these days. A local store in Huntsville ran a special on LEO G22s recently for $333.

OK, thanks. The $350 price looked like the best I was going ot be able to do but just wanted to check before jumping in.

There was a shop south of me that had police trade 19s for $299 several months ago, matter of fact I believe at least several members here got in on that deal and had those guns shipped to them, right now there is a shop that has trade in 21s and 22s and the popular price seems to float between $400-425.

You might, just might, find 22s cheaper now (in the low 300s), because so many have been traded in. You may find 23s to go with them, but the 9mms (17s and 19s) seem to have dried up considerably. $350 is a decent price in today's market, IMHO.

atm police/agency trade-in's, lowest I could find is gen 3 17/19's are $314/$349+$14 shipped (not including ur LGS xfer fee) respectively.
Under $400 should be consistent now. |

GTDist has G22's for $299 in the used handgun section. They are engraved with a depts name on the slide but that is not that big of a deal.

Got my gen3 19 from dansammo recently, as mentioned above, some others at a great deal atm in stock, might snag a gen2 19 or a 26, "less is more" is out the door. |

Looks like a pretty damn good deal. It said they only ship firearms next day air, so how much did it end up being to ship? View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

I haven't purchased any from them myself, but Ed's in Georgia usually has decent prices on used glocks. I've recommended a few people there and they seem to be happy with their purchases.

On Dan's ammo's website, it lists that the listed shipping isn't the correct shipping, and that when the order is charged the correct shipping is factored in. I know when I priced to ship a pistol from Dans Ammo to my FFL, it was around $75 via UPS. Dans Ammo is good people. I've ordered quite a bit from them and had zero issues. Edit: I just had the pistol shipped, and it was $18 from Dan's Ammo to my FFL in TX. |

It's Dan's Sporting Goods, LINK They're all sold out now though. ETA: My Gen 2 G22 came in today from Dan's, with one LE marked 15rd mag. Overall in pretty good shape. Trigger feels a bit worn so I might get a spring replacement kit (depending on how it shoots), some holster wear on the left side of the slide, but the grip looks brand new. Overall, Ilm happy for the price. Came to $303 after shipping and transfer fee. |

Picked up a G35 from buds for $375 shipped (Used the make offer feature). Came with 2 mags and in excellent condition short of the grip tape. The night sights are dead though.

I've found the used market around me on my local forum to be best. Got a hen 4 17 with 200 rds fired (looks brand new internally) for 400 and a pmag yesterday. I dont think the guy really understood gun values that well though.

Do what I did.
Wait for a friend to purchase an expensive 1911, then offer to buy his oddball Glock. This is how I got a 2010-dated Gen 3 Glock 23 w/ three mags for $300. Since it was his only .40 I got all the ammo, too. It's literally had a single mag shot through it, and is now down in Smyrna GA getting $57 night sights put on. |
