I had been researching and mauling over pictures of frame modified Glocks for several weeks now and finally decided to send my beloved Gen3 Glock 19 off. The gun had always fit me fine but I knew it could be made better. I sent my Glock to Tactical Texture & Triggers on July 8th. Communication was great with Mike at TT&T and he informed when he received the package. Their website and work order were very simple to follow and the pricing structure was easy to understand what was included. I found a few other sites from different companies a little difficult to discern what I was paying for. The turn around was very quick and I received notification with tracking number when my package was shipped. I received it yesterday the 16th. Wow that was fast.

This thing feels great. This is what I want all my Glocks to feel like. I have a couple of Gen4 Glocks that I thought were great and that they could be left alone. After holding this I'm not sure if I can keep the rest of my Glocks in stock form. They offer a mild / medium / aggressive texture for the stippling. I went with the medium since this pistol is carried a lot of the time. In my opinion the medium texture is perfect for both carry and range training. I don't think I would want the aggressive texture for IWB carry. It feels about like a Gen4 on my skin but it is not uncomfortable. The slight undercut of the trigger guard really tops my grip off.

I was on the fence for a long time about modifying my frame. I wasn't sure who to trust with my gun or if it would really make a difference. I can confidently recommend Tactical Texture & Triggers work. This has made me excited about Glocks again.

I put 150 rounds thru it yesterday evening and it feels 10 times better than before. For me the ergonomics are much better than the other flavors of the month that I've tried. I've probably put 10k rounds thru this pistol over the years and I'm happy to say I'm a Glock guy again. For whatever reason I was always looking for something better than what I had and for me the only way to make it better was getting the grip right instead of switching brands repeatedly.

I'm not a fan of texturing but that does look well done and bet it has a nice feel.

It looks very professionally done.  If you're happy with the results that's all that matters.  I won't tell you how much money I have tied up in my 357magnum Ruger Sp101 snub nose (Gemini Custom hybra-porting cough, cough) but it made me happier to have a custom version of a traditional workhorse gun so I understand the thought process that gets you to where you ended up.  Enjoy!!

I see the finger grooves are gone, is it a full grip reduction? If so how much smaller does the grip feel. I want to have a grip reduction done on my 21, most of the "big names" are not accepting new jobs until next year.

Yes, I had the finger grooves removed and a hump reduction as well. The grip feels even smaller than the Gen4. I can reach the stock Gen3 mag release without changing my grip now. I can also do this on the Gen4 but the mag release design made that easier anyways. The trigger reach is at the right spot for me. I don't feel like I have to stretch out to get to the trigger on the first shot.

If you like it half as much as I do mine your wallet will forgive you and look for spare change in the couch to send any other Glocks you may have to them.

I've always been consistent in being very critical of stippling jobs on Glocks, mostly because there are so many horrendous hack jobs done on a perfectly serviceable firearm.  The job that guy did on your Glock is nothing short of excellent, very well done.  It appears very functional as well as aesthetically pleasing, which always counts for something.  It's texturized where it needs to be, and nowhere else.  You see guys stippling under the trigger guard, on the side of the upper frames, etc. where at best it's useless and unnecessary texturing, and at worse tears your fingers up due to the recoil.  Then you see it on the EE as a "custom Glock".  Yours looks great though, that fellow did a great job, not too aggressive, just right.

Looks great!!!
I get grip reductions on all my gen3 glocks (except the 42); and I usually stipple them myself (mine look good, but not that good).
I want a gen4 19 for the giant mag-release and recoil spring...but I didn't know if you can get grip reductions.  I'm waiting for a 19 timberwolf frame to get released!
