ETA: Son of a bitch. Dupe.

Glock is finally shipping the factory suppressor-ready models they talked about at the NRA show.

So far, all I've seen is the 17......however, the 19 and 23 are supposed to be coming out.

I wasn't tracking these would have suppressor sights, and metric threaded barrels.

I may pick up a 17 if I see one locally - I prefer the metric threads for actually shooting with a can, as they are much less prone to loosening, and the o-ring on 99% of metric pistons.

Not bad prices for 17's with threaded barrels and AmeriGlo suppressor sights - they're running around $560 to right below $600

Do want. Will buy when I can find a 23.

Any idea which models will be offered? I'd love a 19 and a 34. My 21sf with factory threaded barrel has worked great so far but was speedy to piece together.

They said it'll be the 19, 17, 21, and 23.

These look great. I will probably end up with a 17 and a 23.

Hopefully this means the standalone threaded barrels will be coming soon, if they're still planning on selling them alone.

Worst case scenario, you can do what I did to get my factory FDE G19 frame.........I bought a brand new FDE G19, kept the frame, and parted out the slide, barrel, and mags.......I recouped all but $75.

Buy one of these, then part out the frame, slide, and mags.

Will they cycle with factory ammo without the use of a LID?

Couldn't tell ya......I'm kind new to the suppressor game, and have only have my two for about a year, but I've never seen a full size suppressor without a LID......I'm sure it would cycle fine with a mini-can like the Thompson Machine Poseidon.

I doubt it...I have to use LID with all mine even with a factory barrel that I have had threaded

Gen3 frame?

I hope they also bring out the gen4's - it will be silly if they play this like the G30s.

I wouldn't hold my breath - the Gen3's are all they mentioned at the NRA show.  It escapes me why they'd do Gen3 only - at first thought you might think it's so they can sell them in California... except that threaded barrels are illegal there.

Are the barrels only metric threaded or US as well?

I've only seen guns with metric threaded barrels to date.  Historically, the only threaded barrels I've ever seen Glock make have been metric threaded.  I see no reason why that would change at this point.

Tempting. If they where Gen4's I'd be all over the 17 & 19.

To each his own I guess.  I love the Gen 3 frames.  The adjustable backstrap of the Gen 4 frame isn't a "must have" for me, but I can understand why some folks just have to have it.  I can run a Gen 3 or a Gen 4 with equal levels of incompetence

Played with one today at the gun shop.

Sights are steel, and stick out nicely.

The thread protector is polymer.

The barrel serial # matches the gun, FWIW.

Price was $570.....only $70 more than a regular Gen 3 G17......worth it for the steel Ameriglo suppressor sights and threaded barrel alone.

I'd buy one if I wasn't trying to buy some Gen 3 Night vision.

The Ameri-Glo sights are factory, correct? Might have to add a 19 to my "buy" list.

I think so. All of them are coming with the AmeriGlo suppressor sights, and they're a different model than I've ever seen from AmeriGlo, so I assume they were made specifically for these factory suppressor ready pistols.

Anyone know if they will have blue box versions?

I'll just get a Lone Wolf and be able to shoot cast lead through it.

I doubt it.   None of the other distributor specials (e.g. OD and FDE Glocks) have ever been available as Blue Label guns.

The thread protector material isn't a big deal to me. It's only there to be used in storage anyway.

Glock never announced Gen4 versions of these, only Gen 3.  :(

My thoughts exactly.....seriously a G21 Gen 4 and G19 Gen 4 should have been the first models offered.  Followed by a G30S and G17 Gen 4.

My LGS just got them in. Glock 17TB was the model designation I believe.

Great, just put together my rtf2 21 and put Trijicon Suppressor nights sights and a factory Threaded Barrel. Only $900. Looks like I could have saved some funds if I waited but then again not a fan of the Gen 3 nor the Ameriglo sights. I am happy with what I went with.

No metric LH thread, no want.

People like to bitch about metric LH threads, but pistons are cheap and you don't have to tighten them every mag like you do with US RH threads.

About time Glock steps it up and adds Threaded barrel models...  How long have other manufactures been doing this?

Not big on the back sites with no dots..
Also, Why no info on these on Glocks website???
