Who here would pay for a Glock G36 with a 5" barrel and 8 round long grip?
Would this not be a fitting design for the G45 model?

Just a thought after dreaming they would just release the G19/G23/and G25 in single stack.

In gen4

Yes, I've thought of this configuration.

Also 10mm version single stacks, in both compact and this size.

He didn't say he wanted the thing to jam.

Why not just buy a 1911 then?

A. Because I don't want it to jam.

B. Because it would actually be something new for Glock to do.

I actually thought Glock would try and come out with something to compete with the XDs or Shield

If they were smart, they would have done this with the G42. Bring it out in 9 and 40 to compete with the shield, and 45 to compete with the XDs.

That's if they were smart. But the fact that they are bringing it out in .380 just proves that they don't have a fucking clue.

ETA: They could even get away with using the same frame. All of Glock's 9 and 40 offerings are on the same frame (i.e 17-22, 19-23, so on and so forth). As for the 45, if Springfield can build a 9 and 45 on the same frame in the XDs, why couldn't Glock?
