Nice...leave her beat. I'd rather have a experienced girl then a virgin any day....
Here is my Gen 2 G19 that was stolen in the early 90's and returned last summer by the LAPD. Was recovered from a bank robber in a gang sweep. Just after I got her back....LAPD even gave me back the hi-cap mag.
New Meprolights added a few days ago.... ![]() |

I have a friend with a safe full of "perfect guns" that only visit the range...once in a while....if the weather is nice. this is why i was almost upset that my gen3 g19 was in as good as condition it was when i got it. as much as i love to use it i still get that knot in my stomach when i place it down too hard or drop it or bang it on something |

I have a Gen 2 coming from AIM that they had in their yardsale post. I bought it sight unseen, but supposedly it has a chunk out of the grip.
I wasn't interested until Bryan mentioned it would be perfect to have the grip cut down to 26 size for carry.
Get the grip chopped and run flat base mags for best concealment and the factory 12s for day to day. Plus standard 19 magazines for a reload. Not to mention the occasional fun day at the range with a 33 rounder. |

I managed to get one of Aim's Gen 2 G19s also. It looked to be in very good condition although it was filthy when it arrived. I was debating whether or not to send it in to Glock for new springs and sights but decided to do it myself since I wanted to add a couple of non-stock parts based on this article and personal preference. I ordered a spring kit, spring cups, smooth G17 trigger and dot connector in addition to the Vickers extended mag release and slide stop from my parts box from a previous order with TangoDown. With the help of info found on the net, I broke everything down this evening, cleaned it up, then put it back together. I also had a fresh set of Ameriglo night sights installed at a local shop.
I probably have as much into it now as an similarly equipped new G19 would cost me, but it has everything *I* want and it's a Gen 2! Not surprisingly, the trigger pull is much nicer with the dot connector/standard trigger spring than with the standard connector/NY1 spring that was previously installed. I'm looking forward to my next range trip. ![]() |
