I'd suggest that you at least give a 9mm conversion barrel a consideration...much more pleasant to shoot than a .40 and much more economical, unless you reload.

Should have gotten a 17 IMO but its a Glock so you should be happy either way.

My first Glock was a Gen 3 G22. Still have it and always will.
You'll like it. It led me to a total of five Glocks. Two in 9mm, two in .40, and one .45 ACP. |

G22 is a great choice and police trade ins are plentiful and shot little.
