THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT Friggin thing won't budge. I push in the button on the bottom, then try to depress the sides and slide it off. Won't budge. I've wrecked my fingers with this thing. Anybody done this??? |

Are you pushing the button all the way down until it gives and won't return to up position?

Use a punch to push the button all the way down then pry the baseplate forward. Don't bother pinching the sides of the mag, doesn't work for shit.

My father had this same issues with his G26 mags. He ended up using a c clamp to push down on the sides to take pressure off the end plate, and it slid right off.

I've never had trouble with this and I've disassembled many many mags. Just use a punch (Glock tool works well) to depress the button while squeezing the sides of the body and pry off the base plate. It's really not that difficult, just use some muscle.

Use a hair dryer to heat up the base. Works everytime.
