I purchased a few of the crazy rare OD Green mags for a Glock 22.

There are a few discussions on the Internet that a small lot (Maybe 1000) were made for Delta Force, aka CAG, since they had recently switched from 1911's to the Glock 22 RTF.

Someone here posted a picture of a CAG member in either Afganistan or Iraq with one of these magazines. It has the +2 extender on the end and is factory Glock OD Green>

Thanks

I remember seeing this pic in a thread as well. I don't remember which thread and my search-fu has failed so far...

This one?

762minigun2 is the member who owns a couple of these magazines. They're a little darker and richer in color than OD, so I suspect they're actually Dark Earth, but I've never seen them compared to the Dark Earth Glock.

Yes, thanks! I bought all those from 762. They are more green than FDE, but not the same green that Glock uses. I have four of these now, I would love to know the true story. Thanks again for posting that...

Comparing them in person, they are darker than the Dark Earth G19 I have.

I'm on my iPad but there are a couple posted in the Delta force ussf thread from a range day deal, different than the ones posted and show the mags pretty well.  It's on the last page or next to last.

Those pics?
HTR

The color looks very similar to Cav's "Dark Earth" and KAC's dark earth color which is the real milspec color.

No. They were made to ease visual identification of magazines by a unit that used both 9 and 40.

I have one of those mags. For a color comparison, here it is with two OD green Glocks. I don't have a FDE one yet to compare with.
