THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT
Before anyone takes this the wrong way, I want to know if this is a viable carry option. The reason being, I want to stipple my G26 to match my G17, but I don't want to go overboard if it will limit my carry options.

I wouldn't plan on carrying without a holster of some kind, but something like a Vanguard or maybe a Desantis pocket holster might suffice in a deep concealment role. I just don't want to run too far forward with my stippling if it will snag.

However, if the G26 is too heavy for pocket carry, and I suspect that it is on the heavy side, I would just go with something IWB or AIWB. And I would go ahead with my plan to stipple.

I would say it would be too large for pocket carry unless you have pretty big pockets.

I carry mine in a MTAC right around the 4 o'clock position and I can barely tell it's there.

I tried to make it work. Too big and too heavy in a pants pocket or a jacket pocket.

IWB, ankle and I have also used one of those t-shirt holsters with good results.

I began carrying a G27 in my front pocket in 1998.

I still do.

It's in my right front pocket right now.

Sometimes I have to hike up my pants, but I can live with that.

Thanks all. I was thinking in gym-shorts or something without a belt. And I can tell by the responses that it would probably pull them to the ground. I'm going to go with my original plan to continue stippling forward of the take-down lever as a place to rest my thumb. I'll post pics later.

It's way to big for pocket carry. Get yourself a Rohrbaugh R9 for a pocket 9mm pistol, it's the only real pocket 9mm out there in my opinion.

I don't so much care to have a pocket 9mm, I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't going to cut out a method of carrying a gun I already own.

Little too large & heavy for pocket carry, unless you're wearing MC Hammer pants. I IWB carry mine in a Comp Tac Infidel "slide" holster. Great combination.
