Forgot I had an MTAC laying around. I still think I'll need those offset wings to keep the clip from messing with my draw but I'm much happier with the ride height now.

I had the same experience with the mini phantom for my LCP and the raven clips.

had to get wings, not really a fan of them, just used one. does make tucking easier though.

or just do what I did, and lower the comp tac clips.

Pic from when I first got it, holster hadn't been broken in yet when this picture was taken. I'm probably going to switch it out though, the DeSantis is too thick in the sides for my liking and isn't as comfortable as the Galco IWBs, but I do like the adjustability for cant which the Galco doesn't have. I may go Kydex this time.

Gen3 Glock 23 w/ a minimum of 1 reload in a Comptac Minotaur along with the wallet, car key(s), pocket knife, watch, and the iPhone took the pic.

TODAY:

G27 OWB + G23 spare

I prefer belt carry to IWB all other considerations being equal and usually openly carry once the coats and jackets are put up for the year. Two spare mags are what I typically keep handy weak side on my belt. Everything else goes in my pockets.

Good stuff boys, keep 'em coming. This is one of my favorite pic threads.

Oh yeah, pic thread. Holster by Swinkster. Pretty easy to conceal this package honestly. Love the zero cant.

Here I was just playing around with some Comp-Tac clips. Might give them a try again.

My Rigs:

My 98% of the time EDC:

Gen 3 Glock 26 w/Trijicon HD's, stippled grip, standard 10rd mag.
Glock 26 w/Pierce +2 or Glock 19 mag
K-Holster w/combat cut
Sidearmor Glock Mag holder
Gerber Crucial Multi-tool

I wear this with jeans and a t-shirt without any issues:

If I'm wearing a button up shirt or a jacket, or anything more than just a t-shirt I'll sub the G19 or G23 in w/a G17 spare mag. Sometimes I'll carry the 19 or 23 with just a t-shirt, but most of the time I stick with the 26:

Summer tank-top/tight shirt w/shorts carry (Taurus 709 slim in pocket holster)

Finally, my BTN carry (aka better than nothing) Taurus TCP in pocket holster

I'll almost always carry my Glock 26, but the beauty of these rigs is that they are all interchangeable. The K-holster will fit all of my glocks as well as the Taurus 709 (and yes I know that's frowned upon, but I also have a seperate K-holster for it... but it will fit in a pinch), and the pocket holster I can use for the 2 Taurus guns and also the 26 if I'm wearing something with large pockets. I rarely carry the TCP unless it's something like gym shorts or a tuxedo. I modded the Sidearmor mag holster so that it will work IWB for concealed and also OWB for IDPA use. If I'm going out of town, I have an extra one I can wear too, and I'll slip a 4th mag in my front pocket.

What clips are these?

ETA: I see that they are from Raven. If I was to order just the clips, would I have the infamous wait, or would they just drop them in the mail? How well do they actually work?

Those are Comptac C clips on a Raven. Comptac is very fast.

If you're just ordering accessories from Raven they will ship in a few days. If you order accessories AND a holster, you'll wait the 16-18 weeks.

ETA: The clips work great. The ride height with the belt loops or IWB loops on this holster made the grip lean away from my body which I didn't like. I'm guessing that was because most of the weight was sitting above the belt. With the Comp-Tac clips I got the ride height where I wanted it and the problem went away, now I just need the offset wings so I can get the clips out of the way of my draw.
