Glock 30 in a Harwell Protuck.

EDIT - iphone took the pic, so obviously a phone would go there too.

Hang on to that Benchmade. Those aren't easy to get anymore. I have a similar one that is part of my EDC. Had it since 2001.

Main carry:

A&G Custom Gunleather 1.5" bullhyde belt
TT Gunleather IWB
HK P30 V3
Federal HST 147GR
Spare mag (at least one)
Surefire x300
G-Shock Stealth Rescue (most comfortable watch I've ever worn)
Keys to the Wrangler

Backup:

Will sub the DB380 in when I can't carry the P30. Just submitted an order for TT Gunleather pocket holster. New manufacture, ZD-serialed, 100% reliable so far.

This is a setup I recently put together for a HSLD armed security gig I landed in Orlando. Shit gets real there, so I knew I needed to roll in heavy.

The main armament is a pair of plastic projectile-launchers, one carried in a front pocket and another tucked into my left sock as a backup.
Each fires a 50-gram, flat-nose winged projectile at about 50fps, with an effective range of nearly 8 feet. I don't fuck around so I carry six spare
rounds. Because it's important to always have energy in an emergency, I always carry my Yoda Pez dispenser, loaded with 12 rounds of Strawberry goodness.
But in case a wounded buddy or hostage needs a pick-me-up I always keep spares too. I find that running two flavors of reloads helps aid morale.
Up next is my black, low-profile tactical watch. It is glow-in-the dark. Enough said. My keys are always on hand, so I can deploy in my rapid response vehicle
(2009 Honda Odyssey), when needed. It also holds my NanoVault key so I can quickly access my airsoft backup gun if needed. My two Motorola military-grade
radios give me unparallelled contact with my clients and C.O. For effective detention of unruly subjects I carry two Chinese finger traps, which to the untrained eye
look like harmless coin wrappers. For undercover surveillance missions I trust my criminal profiling kit paired with my limited-edition Darth Vader pen. To be as official
as a whistle I can flash my security badge, which at first glance appears to be a Disney button. To keep safe from bloodborne pathogens and HIV/AIDS I always keep
my trusty pump bottle of hand sanitizer at the ready. It has already proven its worth by saving me when a buddy recently contraced a cold. To make rapid decisions
on the fly is hard enough without a calculator, so I rely on my trusty TI-83 Plus that was gifted to me by my mother when I entered high school. To complete the official
low-profile look I am running a Galco belt and cap combo, which has been holding up well under heavy indoor use.

Your life may depend on that someday, maybe you should think about cleaning it up a bit.

I know it's odd to see carry gear that doesn't look like it just came right out of the package. Perhaps he's showing that he did some training with his carry equipment. My carry gear has looked like that more than a few times as well.

I'm showing that I actually carry my gun and am not afraid to get it dirty. 5 minutes after those pics it was field stripped and getting all cleaned up. Its not like I carry it without cleaning it. This was after a day of riding quads, hence the mud.

ETA, pic of quad for reference

Hey bro, your 1911 mags are backwards if you carry them on your left side.

I assume he meant me.
I looked back at a bunch of other 1911 rigs and you are right...I carry mine backwards from everyone else.
Thats how I've always done it, and how it feels natural for me to grab them on reload.

Is it generally done the other way where you basically put the back of your hand to your body to grab the reload?
Now you've got me intrigued, that way always seemed unnatural to me. What is the reasoning for carrying them in that direction?

rounds go forward because you index the mag with your index finger (duh) to guide the mag into the magwell. so you grip the mag with your thumb and other 3 fingers, while the index finger rides teh front of the magazine.
