My EDC. Im really digging the incog eclipse, my only problem with it is the multicam covering is a bit rough compared the the black fuzz of my original incog.

Drop the 19 and mag for my daily "campus carry." I know somebody will say concealed means concealed, but I'm not trying to catch a felony and get expelled.

Forgot to fill it during the mold process.

I'll probably end up making a proper taco holster press and redoing it

The bad is that it can cause the gun to come unseated in the holster if pressure is applied to the muzzle.

Which I would think is exceedingly common in appendix carry. Pretty much every time you sit or bend your waist.

I've never personally had that problem. The holster keeps a very firm retention of the pistol, but I see where it could possibly be a problem.

How uncomfortable is appendix carry? I've never purchased a holster specifically designed for appendix carry, but IWBs I've tried in that location make me believe it would never work for me.

Personally I find it the most comfortable of all IWB positions I've tried. It doesn't dig into my kidney or hip when I'm sitting like a 4 oclock carry. Its also the most concealable for me, but I'm tall and skinny. I can imagine it not being too comfortable for bigger guys.

It works great for myself. It's not uncomfortable at all. There have been times where I have forgotten that I was carrying, because it almost went unnoticed until I moved around. Carrying 4 o'clock is extremely uncomfortable, for me, especially while driving.

I was involved in an accident over the weekend. A woman was texting and driving, and rear ended me while I was at a complete stop. She was traveling around 45mph when she hit me. It destroyed the back of my car, but I walked away without injury. I was expecting to have bruising from the holster being pulled by the seatbelt, but I had no problems.

I'm the complete opposite. Appendix carry for one is too dangerous in my opinion, and is very uncomfortable to drive let alone walk. Now four, I can drive, move around, and be comfortable all day. The trick is to not wear tight pants and get one size bigger waist to compensate for the extra room needed to IWB carry.

In the end it's different strokes for different folks.

My thoughts exactly. Appendix is horribly uncomfortable and 4 o'clock is flawless. Can barely feel a full size M&P there. Moving, sitting laying down. It's the best for me.

Different strokes for different folks is something we can agree on.

Carrying a G17 with a spare mag is completely comfortable to me, while driving and doing everyday activities. I wear pants that are 1 size larger, to accommodate for the gun and spare mag. Getting my gun out, while wearing a seatbelt, is very easy carrying appendix. The level of comfort is something that is an individual assessment, but as far as if it's dangerous or not... well, that depends on how comfortable you are with firearms.

A Glock pointed at my junk isn't going to go bang, unless I pull the trigger. A good holster keeps the trigger from being pressed.

It's not a matter of comfort with firearms, it's a matter of being negligent under stress. Good holster means nothing, it's the person who will make it bang inadvertently.

With a seat belt, I have a gun holstered to the car which is just as easy to access and draw.
