It's a damn fine light. And so cost effective! I just can't see how spending $$$ on a SureFire would make it any better of a light than this.  Yeah, I'm gonna buy another one or two for the car and the wife's car.

Glad you guys have had better luck with the Protacs than I have. I've had the 2L and the 1AA and the switches on both of them failed.

I have carried streamlight almost exclusively over the past 6 years, a PT2L, two stinger DS led, a protac HL,  and a TLR-1S. I have never had a single issue out of any of them after being through what most would say is heavy use in less than ideal conditions. Not saying you didnt have problems, but sounds like you got the exception and not the rule

Had 2  mircos take a shit.

My 2 polytac's, TLR1 have been GTG over the years. My TRL 3 broke a mount, was replaced and has been GTG for a few years now.

Just as useful as any other knife I've carried, more so than the raptor claw-like curved S&W I had.

Best $7 I've ever spent at a gun show.

Eric does great work.  I do recommend stepping up to the COM IV though for the reinforced mouth.

How is the wedge experimentation going? My complaint with velcro was it would come off when I removed the holster from my pants sometimes. That's why I switched to the attractive athletic tape.

Pic thread - been playing with a MDTS / Raven Concealment pocket shield. Streamlight PT2L, Sabre OC and a Clinch Pic in a low profile pocket rig.

Seems be going good. I havent had a complaint only praises from the people I have sent them out to. Mine is the first to be used on a wrapped holster and have found that is did try to peel off at when tried to removed the wedge at one point. If I send one out to someone else I will probably cut the section of cordura out and apply the velcro directly to the kydex.

Is that belt a bit light for the gun?

A little. It's a little long, too.  I have a thicker belt, but it needs some holes punched in it (that one's way too long).

That gun is a tank, though. It'll pull down on the britches some,  regardless.

The phone, a blackberry *cough*crackberry*cough* and a Ipod in a griffin case (BEST CASE EVER)

On body we have a 5.11 mesh hat which I like lots (rock climber) a tag riggers belt (rappelling with it works but is not for the inexperienced, its also a great gun belt) Wiley X Valor glasses (need new lenses) and the absolutely awesome Suunto Core in Sahara.

and the gun, a Springfield XD45 loaded with 230 remington defense (think I want to switch to 185 +P hornady's) with a carry trigger job by springfield with a Streamlight TLR-3 riding in a Raven Concealment Phantom LC in coyote brown with some tuckable soft loops (get tuckable always) along with my primary light that I freaking love, a Streamlight Protac 2AA. Ill be doing a grip chop and stipple job on it soon I hope and would like to send it to bowie tactical to get a Delta point on it but we shall see on that.

All put together it looks far more manageable and its really not difficult to carry all of it. My biggest pain in the belt pouch and I for sure want to switch to something smaller and slimmer. Ive been kicking around the idea of a bravo sns rig that would take care of the light and mag and then id just have the Leathermen. Im just not sure if it will work well IWB though.

Id appreciate recommendations guys, particularly on the bravo concealment sns and a belt pouch or two.

Thank ya much DP

Did you murder LouisianaCarry?

For TexasRifleman and Devil_Pup, have you ever tried to run with all that, especially in your boots?  Would it fly out?

How is that foam wedge working out for you?  I've been thinking about adding something similar to the AIWB you made for me to get the grip to stay a little closer to my body.

Love this pic. It's one of the few I've seen in this thread with (what appears to be) honest wear. The vast majority of guns and holsters that have been posted don't look like they've ever been carried.  My M&P9c has rust on the rear sight, scratches/gouges in the grip from working on my truck, and a nice coating of t-shirt/underwear lint. The holsters have creases and wrinkles in the leather, scratches on the belt clips, and more of the same lint that's covering the pistol.

That's because most people post their new gear.

Lot of guys block that area to allow  a 26 or a 19 to be used with the holster.
